Are We Great Yet?

We are celebrating Independence Day/4th of July here in the United States today and that's what we focused on this week at the Polkadoodles Challenge blog

What better way to celebrate than with lots of red, white, and blue?!?

I used paper from the Gnome Men Football USA paper pack for the background. I printed out the L'il Miss USA/4th July/Flag Lil Miss Sugarpops, colored her with Copics and a white gel pen, and cut her out with a postage frame nesting die. I layered a larger frame behind her, then die cut 3 different colored buntings and added some bling to them. I stamped the sentiment out with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder, then used a nesting banner die to cut that out and sponged the edges with Candied Apple Distress Ink.  Added some more pearl/rhinestone stickers to finish it off! Sentiment is from the Good Trouble set at Ink Road Stamps.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Stars and/or Stripes

Creative Fingers #326 - Anything Goes

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

Cupcake Inspirations - Anything Goes

I hope you all have a happy & safe weekend with the people you love and all of your favorite foods and beverages! The grandkids aren't around this weekend and I was feeling kinda sorry for myself with nothing to do on July 4th so hubby and I are meeting his aunt and uncle (my favorites) at a local brewery this afternoon for a late lunch while listening to a local band and sipping on some yummy brews! Although I'm not a fan of most of what is happening in our country the last couple of years, I still love my country and I am thankful for the GOOD PEOPLE who fight so hard for us. I am HUMAN above all and everything else, and I will never celebrate hatred, racism, misogyny, or discrimination of any type against any living thing. I am a witch and my religion is peace and love. I believe whatever you give out comes back to your threefold.  Peace.
