I kept this pretty simple by just fussy-cutting the gorgeous dove from Vera Lane's Peace Out set and attaching him & the text with pop-up dots then tying a ribbon around the ATC with a little peace sign charm attached to it.  Peace.

Oddball Stuff!

Good morning!

We have a new release to share today at Oddball Art (don't forget to use code DTJENNB10 for 10% off your order at the Etsy shop) and here is one of my favorite new images:


She's called Long Day, #279, "Sometimes You Feel Like a Blunt" - and I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

I colored her with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits, then added some Gold Stickles in her hair.  Papers are from My Mind's Eye - I used a piece of brown paper to roll a "blunt" for the embellishment.  ;)

This image is called Noora, #244, (and again,don't forget to use code DTJENNB10 at checkout if you shop at the Oddball Art Etsy store!  I colored Noora with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and used some fun Valentine papers from My Mind's Eye.  The sentiment was created using some Tim Holtz stickers and my Dymo Caption Maker.  I added a little "LOVE" ticket & a key charm to finish it off.  Peace.

I colored Sleeping Beauty with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and used some pretty rose papers from my stash. I created the sentiment using black alpha beads and finished it off with a black satin ribbon tag.  Peace.

Wicked Wednesday: Make it Sparkle

Hello friends!  Today we have a new challenge for you at:



Our challenge is running for 2 weeks this time because next week's sponsor backed out on us at the last minute (Julia Spiri).  She said it was due to lack of entries in our challenge blog - I find this type of behavior very unprofessional and just plain mean.  This was a first for me and I was a little hurt, a little angry, and a little worried about finding a replacement sponsor on such short notice... then I quickly got over it and figured my devoted team could use a week off anyway.  So there you have it - and I'd like to enter my cute little ATC into the following challenges:

Creaine Challenges: Bingo (I used wings, pink, and pearls/bling)


I colored Flyaway Butterfly (my new image) from All Dressed Up with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and paired her with some pretty rose paper.  I added some gemstone stickers to finish it off. Peace.
