 Happy Father's Day! We're heading to a local farm with a brew barn and yummy food! It looks like a beautiful day and I'm looking forward to it!

I blended Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink through my Double Honeycomb stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (you can use coupon code JennFan10 for 10% off your order at the shop). I stamped the You're the Bees Knees border image from Unity Stamp Co. directly on the background with Versafine Black and embossed with clear sparkly embossing powder. I then applied the Fossilized Amber ink heavily to a scrap piece, stamped the sentiment on it, embossed, and used my Deckled Circle Creative Cuts die (Mama Elephant) to cut it out, sponging the edges with black ink. Peace.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge DT Call

One of the lovely ladies from the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge blog encouraged me to apply for their DT, so I figured I would give it a shot!  I do love having an excuse to spend time in my craft room - hee hee  ;)  I also love showcasing sponsors images/products and encouraging people to support them.

My images are from the Let's Make Waves set at Pink & Main - I stamped with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder, then colored with Copics and glitter. I used a Polaroid die to cut out each image, layering with DP. I used a punch to cut out the circle and sponged the edges, then sponged the edges of the card with the same color. Sentiment is from Funky Fossil.

I used papers from the Bohemian Dream pack at Unity Stamp Co. The pretty image is a digi stamp from A Day for Daisies, colored with Copics and fussy cut, then attached with foam dimensional tape. I used Stickles on her wings, added some die cuts and pearl stickers for embellishments. Peace.

Polkadoodles - Gnome More Beer Please!

 The Polkadoodles Design Team have got some creative projects to share with you this week using a flap!

I used 2 separate sets combined to make my Father's Day card, the first set is called Dad Father Celebration Party Gnome for Men:

The second set is called Dad Father Celebrate Relax Gnome for Men:

I used a tutorial from Simply Simple Stamping to create my flap card:

I printed out my gnome images and colored them with Copics. The beer stein papers are from the Party Gnome set, which you can find here. The "Have a Great Day" b&w papers are from the Knight & Dragon Little Dudes. I liked the contrast of the bright colored beer mugs against the black and white paper.

Good morning! I would like to share an art journal spread that I made using the Sun and Moon stencil and the Star Circle stencil from the June release at:

Here is my creation:

I used lots of stencils, stamps, and rub-ons to create this with inks, sprays, texture paste, embossing powders - total mixed media project and I was absolutely covered in inks and pastes when I was done. Complete happiness to me. LOL I worked on this for literally weeks - I just kept coming back to it and adding things until I was satisfied. I really enjoyed the process, and isn't that what art should really be about?

 Hello all! It's the big girls last day of school today and I owe my RaeRae a sleepover, so I'm picking her up this afternoon!  She's 7 and such a joy to spend time with, I truly enjoy her company and talking to her. She's bright and kind and funny and a total actress. We always have fun together. :)

My papers are from the Bohemian Dream paper pack at Unity Stamp Co. Digi stamp is called Happy Hot Air Balloon from A Day for Daisies, paper pieced on the balloon portion and colored with Copics on the rest. I fussy cut and attached with foam dimensional tape, layering a die cut cloud behind it. I added a sticker text to the balloon and sponged all the edges. Deckled Frames die cuts are from Mama Elephant.

My papers and stamps are from Unity Stamp Co. - the papers are from the Bohemian Dream paper pack and the stamps are from the Cheers Bruh set. I stamped the image once on a piece of the DP, then stamped it again on different colors and paper-pieced the 2 end cans, attaching them with foam dimensional tape. I used one of the Deckled Frames nesting dies from Mama Elephant to cut it out, and used one of the dies from the Mini Tag Dies set at Jaded Blossom to cut out the "Cheers Bruh" sentiment, also attaching that with foam tape. Peace.

I used one of the dies from the Tag Trio set at Gina K Designs, cut from a piece of watercolor paper scrap that I had colored with Lindy's Magicals. I stamped the sentiment on the tag, then stamped the cute images (Mama Elephant's My Lucky Unicorn set) with Versafine Black, embossed with clear embossing powder, and colored with Copics and Stickles. I fussy cut and attached them with foam tape. I added the die cut "hugs" and some bright pink rhinestone stickers and tied it off with a stitched edge ribbon. Peace.

 Hello all! I've got the baby coming over today so I'll be busy staring at him in love and amazement all day. hee hee   Only half kidding. I can't wait to get some baby snuggles in!

I loved the color scheme at the current challenge at:

Inspired By #392 - Daisies

I was inspired by Von Marie's creation, so I CASEd her a little bit - I used Distress Oxide Ink pads in Barn Door, Peacock Feathers, and Fossilized Amber, swiping them across a piece of watercolor paper. I then took the Black Soot ink pad and very lightly did the same thing across all 3 colors. I spritzed with water and dried with my heat tool. I then stamped the Pure Innocence Daisies Girl from My Favorite Things with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored her with Copics and used an arch nesting die to cut her out, adding some bling for sparkle.

I used Hocus Pocus Mica Spray Stain and Twisted Citron Spray Stain on my glass mat, spritzed with water and lay my watercolor paper on top of it. I dried with my heat tool and dragged the edges through my Villainous Potion ink pad. I printed out the image from Krista Smith, colored with Copics, and fussy cut, then attached with foam tape. I added 3 pairs of glasses die cut from the coordinating colors from the Glasses Dies set at Jaded Blossom, a little sentiment sticker, and a strip of rhinestone stickers. Peace.

I had a bunch of scrap pieces of watercolor paper that I had colored or distressed with either Distress Oxide Inks or Lindy's Magicals and only used pieces of, so I cut a whole bunch of tags from the scraps. This one was colored with Lindy's Magicals. The stamp was from a limited edition collaboration between Simon Says Stamp and Mama Elephant called Holiday Snow Globe (no longer available but this set called Winter Globes is very similar and just as cute!). I stamped with Versafine Black, embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with Copics and Fluffy Stuff, and attached with foam tape. I added the sentiments after using some die cuts to cut them out. Added a tiny rhinestone sticker and a stitched ribbon to tie off the tag. Peace.

I first ink blended Distress Oxide Inks in yellows, oranges, and reds all over a 5x7 piece of watercolor paper. I then layered the Patterned Noise stencil with the Sun & Moon stencil and blended Black Soot through it, then sponged the edges of the card with more black ink. I added a little sentiment sticker to finish it off.

Busy weekend! Just popping in quick today to share this card I made for Creative Magic by Nilu, or Kreativzauberby Nilu, on Instagram. She had asked a few folks if we would like to test out a digi for her and I took her up on that! I would like to enter it into the following challenges:
