Every Wound Can Bloom into Wisdom

I got to hang out with my delicious new grandson yesterday, and he TOOK A BOTTLE FROM ME. His first bottle. You guys, you don't know what this means to me - our sweet Sage was never able to take a bottle - he had a severe gag reflex for anything other than his mommy's breast. It was heartbreaking. Anyway - when Sonny immediately started drinking and making those little baby noises... I just burst into tears of happiness. :)  I'm going to enjoy this baby every single chance I get and I will NEVER take a moment for granted. Ever again. With any of my loved ones. That's one thing I can promise.

I would like to enter my card below into the following challenges:

Passion for Markers - Fave Color Combo (I love aquas and oranges!)

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Butterflies

AllSorts #851 - Anything Goes/From the Garden

Creative Knockouts #572 - Die Cuts/Stencils/Punches

I created my background by ink blending Distress Oxide Inks on watercolor paper, then stenciling some texture paste randomly on top of the ink. I stamped the flower from Unity Stamp Co. Wounds & Blooms - In the Light set with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment with a tag die from Mama Elephant and attached it with a very old designer brad from Stampin' Up! Peace.
