Smile

Hey it's Monday again!  So time for another challenge at:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Feminine

I'll also enter this into the:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes

I love this adorable Fleur Anya retired stamp from The Greeting Farm. I made my background paper by using watercolor paper on my Gelli plate - then I just stamped her directly on the dried paint and spot-colored.  Finished off with a sticker sentiment and sponged the edges of the card.  Peace.

I am fabulous.

I decided to use the same stamp to create another card for the:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

I love this stamp from The Greeting Farm called Tuesday Premiere. Today she's colored up in a pink theme, which seems to suit her perfectly.  I used some Liquitex Gloss Varnish on white cardstock (similar to resist sprays) and then used some pink inks and sprays to create my background. I stamped Tuesday Premiere directly on this and then spot-colored her with markers and glitter.  Finished off with a sentiment sticker and some pearl stickers.  Peace.

Just a Note

I love Wednesdays.  My daughter brings the girls over on Wednesdays and we always have so much fun.  Today the big girls (ages 5 and almost-4) made cards - they are just so sweet the way they love to do the stuff that Grammy does.  Raerae is pretty good at it, too!  Lisey is getting there but she IS only 3 so she's still more interested in sticking the stickers on her fingers than the card.  hee hee

Today's card is for the:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

I used one of my favorite stamps from The Greeting Farm, this one is called Tuesday Premiere.  I colored her with markers and Stickles. My background was created using acrylic paints and the Gelli Plate.  I added a sticker sentiment, a musical note chipboard piece covered in Stickles, and some gemstone stickers for bling.  Peace.

You're My Universe

Hey there - are you guys a fan of The Greeting Farm?  I totally am - have been for YEARS!  Their April release was so freaking adorable, my middle granddaughter has a thing for mermaids and I knew I had to get the new one they released this month!  I decided to play along with the blog hop and I was SO excited to see that I actually WON!  I won the entire release, all 3 adorable sets that you can see here.  For today, I used their adorable set called My Universe and made this card for the:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: It's Up in the Air

I stamped the spaceship and fussy-cut, then applied with foam dimensional stickers onto  black cardstock I punched out with an ATC Coin punch, covered in Liquitex Modeling Paste through a stencil (a SUPER cheaper and just-as-good version of the popular "texture paste"). I used white embossing powder for the sentiment and the "smoke".  Used some Distress Oxide Sprays for the background and added some gemstone stickers for sparkle.    Peace.

Hello

I'm back today with another card for the:

Altenew April Challenge (and they also happen to be celebrating 10 years!!!)

I'd also like to enter this into the:

A Perfect Time to Craft Challenge: Anything Goes

I really loved this color combo and once I started playing with it, I couldn't stop.  I downloaded some of the free digi images from Altenew and made my background with my Gelli Plate again using acrylic paints.  I colored the image with markers.  I'll be back tomorrow with at least one more!  Thanks for looking! Peace.

Believe in Yourself

Happy Saturday!  Blogging just isn't the same as it once was, is it?  I've been using Instagram much more than my blog and I really wish I could figure out a way to enter my creations into challenges using Instagram.  For some reason, my @craftywitchyjenn page won't allow me to copy a link from a specific post.  I can do it from both my personal and business pages, but not my crafty one.  Weird.  If anyone has any tips or ideas, I'd be forever grateful.  Anyway, I am not sure if anyone is even visiting my blog but I'm on a mission to enter as many challenges as I can so I guess I'm stuck with this option for now!

Today's card was made for the

Altenew April Challenge

and it also fits for my 5th and final entry into the:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Make Your Own Background

I used my Gelli plate to create the background with acrylic paints and I just love how the colors match the Altenew palette so perfectly!!!  My image is a rubber stamp from The Greeting Farm, the burlap texture die is from Altenew and I added some paper flowers, decorative tape, and a sticker sentiment to finish it off. Peace.

Love My Witches

Today's entry is a two-fer... LOL  This card is suitable for both of the SSS Challenges this week!

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Make Your Own Background

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Stencil It!

My mermaid witch image is a digi stamp from Oddball Art Co.  I used a large sunflower stencil (I believe it's from The Crafter's Workshop) with my Gelli Plate to create the background, added a wooden star covered in Gold Stickles and some sentiment strips.  Thanks for looking!  Peace.

It's Just a Phase

Hey there!  I'm back again for my 3rd entry into the:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Make Your Own Background

I used alcohol inks to create this background, then some moon phase dies to create my scene.  I used an ATC Coin punch, sprayed with some Liquitex Gloss Varnish (VERY similar to the "resist spray" that's popular!) to create the resist look.  Finished off with some pearl stickers.  Peace.

never give up

Hello there - I was super excited for this challenge this week because I've been on a huge kick of making my own backgrounds and they let you submit up to FIVE projects for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp and let's face it, most of us have a wish list about a mile long!  LOL  So this is my 2nd entry into the:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Make Your Own Background

My friend Alison is the source of a lot of my inspiration - she got me hooked on the Lindy's Magicals, which is what I used to create this background above.  I have the powders, so I mixed a little powder with some water and used a paint brush to create my background.  I "flicked" the paint brush to get the splatter. The mushrooms are digis from Oddball Art Co., colored with markers. Alison also turned me on to the Gel Plates from Gelli Arts and I'm OBSESSED.  LOL  Stay tuned as I'll probably share one of those creations tomorrow! Peace.

Paint Your World Happy

Happy Tuesday!  Today's creation is for the:

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Make Your Own Background

I used an older image from All That Scraps (Aries Zodiac image), colored with markers and Stickles.  Background was created using alcohol inks and blowing them around. Text sentiment is a stamp from Woodware.  Finished off with some butterfly tape, "authentic" wood piece, and gemstone brads.  Peace.

Friend

 Happy Friday!

I'd like to enter this sweet card into the

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Flowers

My image is a stamp from My Favorite Things, stamped directly onto some DP from Authentique.  Sun and "friend" text are die cuts.  Finished off with some gemstone stickers.

Peace.

The Big Picture

Hello there!  I rarely use this blog anymore because I post everything on my IG @craftywitchyjenn but for some reason IG isn't letting me copy the link for each post in order to enter into challenges.  So here I am!

I'd like to enter this into the

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Not a Card

I made a mini canvas using Lindy's Magicals and a watercolor brush.  I painted a little wooden camera and attached it with some craft glue.  Added a sticker sentiment and some gemstone stickers.  Thanks for looking!

Peace.
