Inspiration Station - Photo Prompt (inspired by the barn to create a card with barn/farm animals)

I created my background by smooshing my Barn Door Distress Ink all over watercolor paper and then splattering some water droplets on it.  These adorable stamps are from Tracey Hey Designs/Alpaca Pals - I am OBSESSED with them.  This particular set is called Capture the Crazy (if you visit and fall in love, you might want to wait to make a puchase because she's about to release some really cute Christmas stamps too!) - I colored with alcohol markers & fussy cut the film strip. I stamped the camera & the sentiment directly on the background.  Peace.

A Little Witch

I created my background by using some texture paste through a stencil on watercolor paper, then I spritzed the whole thing with Mica Spray Stains (Wicked Elixir and Jack-O-Lantern) by Tim Holtz.  I used Song of the Sea and a jack-o-lantern from Sweet November Stamps, colored with alcohol markers - I attached a sticker witch hat to her and attached them with foam dimensional tape.  

National Care Bear Day!

 Heyyyy!  Did you all know that today, September 9, is NATIONAL CARE BEAR DAY?!?

I had no idea it was a thing - but when I saw it was today, I had the freaking PERFECT (albeit non-traditional) card to share for it.  hee hee  I was 11 when Care Bears came out, my sister and I were obsessed with them for a bit - my favorite was Sunshine Bear.

And here's my card:

I made my background by covering watercolor paper with shades of pink distress inks and spraying some water on it.  I then added some texture stamps from Hero Arts and my Care Bear stamp/sentiment from Ink Road Stamps.  I used a polaroid frame die cut and attached some gemstone stickers to it to finish it off. Peace.

Love & Courage

 Hi everyone!  I made this project for the Fun with Funky Fossils FB Challenge for September.  The challenge is Not Used Yet so I went through my die folder and found this little library card die (Sizzix - Eileen Hull) that I bought YEARS ago but was too intimidated to try using.  So I pulled it out and I made a background with Distress Inks and then stamped my Funky Fossil Bokeh Flowers & LOVE word on the front pocket.  Decorated one of the library cards with just the honeycomb stamp and on the other, I stamped on Kraft and colored with alcohol markers.  I'm in love with this one if I do say so myself!!!!  I hope you like it!  :)  (Both pics just so you can see it assembled & unassembled!)

I stamped this adorable lion from Unity Stamps, colored with alcohol markers and fussy-cut.  The background was created with varying shades of brown Distress Inks and blended on watercolor paper.  I stamped some heart borders and the sentiment directly on the background and added some bling.  Peace.

 I stamped the gorgeous fox from Creative Expressions with Versafine black and embossed with clear embossing powder, then colored him with alcohol markers.  Background was created with a cloud stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.  The one thing I don't like about dies is that once I take them out of their package and put them in my magnetic book, I can't remember what brand they are!  I cannot for the life of me find this moon die online anywhere.  It reminds me of the Tim Holtz one, but it's not (it's perfectly round, his is a little misshapen - and I don't have the bats!).  Weird.  Anyway, it's a cool full moon die that comes with 3 pieces for layering.  Sticker sentiment is from SRM Stickers. Peace.

I used to use lots of patterned papers and layers in my cards but I seem to have gravitated to creating my own backgrounds with alcohol inks, distress inks, and Lindy's Magicals - so I almost never use layers anymore!

I used varying shades of brown distress inks blended with a pale pink distress ink and a stencil to create the background.  I added a sentiment stamp from Gina K and a pink paper flower with a button center.  I used white Pops of Color as accents.  Peace.

This cute horse digi is from 2CuteInk called Hippie Horses.  I colored with alcohol markers and created my background using alcohol inks on Yupo.  I added a red stitched ribbon that had come on a gift I received as my "recycling" piece.  Peace.

I stumbled upon this stamp company I had never heard of and I fell in love instantly - Alpaca Pals/Tracey Hey Designs.  OMG - I had to buy a few sets.  This one is called Streaky Bacon, I stamped this adorable pig directly on my background paper that I made with Lindy's Magicals.  Added a piece of black rick-rack ribbon and the sentiment.

I love this background - it's Distress Inks and I used a stencil with water on watercolor paper.  I then stamped some texture stamps from Visible Image in black and used some foam dimensional tape to attach my image - I printed the flowers twice and fussy-cut the darker colored flower and attached it with another piece of foam tape, and then embossed it with clear embossing powder and tied a piece of black twine around the bouquet stems.  Peace.

I wish you guys could see this background - I created it on watercolor paper with Lindy's Magicals and it is truly magical. It sparkles and shimmers and it's just so pretty, if I do say so myself! I stamped directly on the background and added some circle stamps for texture. Peace. 

Wine!

 Oh man, I just had a pedicure for the first time in... like 2 freaking years.  It felt amazing and my toes look so great!  I chose a deep purple color, I love it.

I used a piece of watercolor paper to turn into a tag - I used modeling paste through a stencil on the tag, then covered in clear Gesso.  I used Lindy's Magicals to paint the background and then splattered with some Oxide & Distress Spray Stains.  Images are stamps from Visible Image.  I covered the wine glass itself with Diamond Glaze.  Added a pretty ribbon and some red pearl stickers.  Thanks for visiting!  Peace.
