Halloween & Christmas

Good morning! Two very different cards to share today - the first one is for the following challenges:

Paper Funday #92 - Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice

Lil Red Wagon #880 - Use a Frame

Creative Knockouts #581 - Halloween

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Halloween/Spooky

Try it on Tuesday - Halloween

I used an older digi from Birdie Brown (no longer in business but she drew stamps for MFT so if it looks familiar to you, that's why!), colored with Copics. I used papers from Authentique along with a spiderweb frame die and some gravestone dies (Lawn Fawn).

......................

Let's switch holidays up for a second - LOL - I wanted to share one of the cards I made with one of the stencils from the October release at:

This one is called Mid Century Christmas Tree:

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Don't forget to use code JennFan10 for 10% off any stencils in the shop! I used Distress Oxide Inks with clear sparkling embossing powder through the stencil for this card. Sponged the edges of the Kraft paper and roughed them up with my scissors a bit. Added a little Christmas ephemera kraft piece from my stash. Peace.

Paper Funday #92 - Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes with Stencils/Optional ORANGE

We Love Stamping - Shades of Autumn

Let's Craft & Create #236 - AG/Optional Colors of Fall

I created my background by ink blending Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Ink through my Spooky Swirls stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I spritzed it with water and let ink seep into the empty spaces. I stamped Tiny Townie Piper at the Pumpkin Patch from Stamping Bella with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics and used a nesting die set to cut out. Added some large rhinestone stickers to finish it off.

....................

One more card to share today - this one is for the following challenges:

Outlawz Twisted Thursday - Color Challenge

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

I used a cloud scene paper from Unity for the background. I die cut the tree stump, mushrooms, and grass and layered them on the paper. I stamped the sentiment directly on the background and the gnome (CC Designs) on a scrap piece, colored with Copics & fussy cut. I attached him with foam tape and added a snarky sentiment from a Tim Holtz sticker book. Peace.

I am Beautiful - Boys Will Love Me

Hello friends! Heading up to Wachusett Mountain today for Applefest with the family! Always a good time even though it's definitely chilly today! I think the high up the mountain is supposed to be like 55, but I'll be keeping toasty with warm apple cider donuts and hot cider.  Yum!!! I'm sure it'll help running around after the kids all day too!  LOL

I love the way this card came out below, the colors are some of my favorites to use for Halloween cards. I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - W is for Witches

Crafty Calendar - Halloween

A Cut Above October - AG with a Die Cut

I stamped the sentiment directly on the background, stamped out Elphaba (both from CC Designs) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with Copics, and fussy cut. I attached her with foam tape and added some Stickles to her boots - I've learned to do it this way because I have zero patience and EVERY time I try to add the Stickles first, I forget it's there and ruin it. LOL  I added a die cut spiderweb with spider and some rhinestone stickers. Peace.

Trick or Treat - Sweet November

Sweet November Facebook October - Halloween

Shopping Our Stash #584 - Black Cats

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

My papers are from Doodlebug Design (from my stash - I just sorted all of my holiday DP and was slightly embarrassed by how many 6x6 paper pads I bought TWO OF... so I'm really trying to use them before I, you know, buy more...) - I realized that I very rarely use the papers with "busy" patterns on them, so I forced myself to this time! I wasn't disappointed. I used a banner die in the corner and fussy cut the sentiment from one of the papers. I used A Halloween Stroll from Sweet November Stamps, colored with Copics and die cut with a rounded edge nesting die. Peace.

It's a Good Day

Good morning! What are you all up to this weekend?  I had to run the heat for a few minutes this morning to warm the house up a bit but I'm trying to only do that in mornings and leave it off the rest of the day. Gonna be a rough winter with oil prices as high as they are, that's for sure.  But I digress, you're not here for gloom and doom. LOL  So here - have a look at a tag I made for the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Tag It!

Cut it Up - More than One Die Cut

Critter Crazy #115 - AG with a Critter!

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

I have been having fun using up scraps that I've hoarded saved over the years! For this one, I used a tag die to cut out the tag shaped and sponged the edges with more black ink. I then used one of the dies from the Decorative Sentiment Dies set from Emily Moore Designs to die cut the sentiment, and sponged that with more black ink as well. I stamped out the panda from Paperie Ink Stamps Crafty Friends set with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I spot-colored a bit of blue paint on his paint tray & brush and fussy cut him, then attached with foam tape. Peace.

I'd Pause My Game for You!

Good morning! Well October is flying by like it always does and I just realized I have yet to share any stencil projects from the October release at:

This one is called Mid Century Chairs - don't forget you can always use code JennFan10 for 10% off your entire purchase!

I started with a previously made background I had made using the reverse stencil technique with the Falling Dots stencil - that one totally reminds me of video games! I then applied Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink through the Mid Century Chairs stencil directly on the background, then stamped the sentiment with the same ink. I embossed those with a clear sparkly embossing powder. I stamped out the boy from an older rubber stamp set at CC Designs, embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam tape.

I colored her with Copics and used some very old papers from my stash, manufacturer is Authentique. I added some pink rhinestone stickers and a snarky sticker sentiment from a Tim Holtz book.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Tag It!

Alphabet Challenge - L is for Little People (kids)

Creative Knockouts - Sparkle & Shine

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

I had this scrap background from a card I had made, but it was too pretty to toss!  That beautiful star pattern in the background is from the Star Dots stencil at A Colorful Life Designs. So I die cut it with a luggage tag die from Simon Says Stamp. The background was made with a mixed media format using an emboss resist technique, texture paste with embossing through a stencil, and lots of inks and sprays. The sentiment was stamped/embossed and die cut with one of the dies from the Decorative Sentiment Die set from Emily Moore Designs. I stamped out the girl from the Unicorns and Glitter set from My Favorite Things with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored her with Copics and Stickles, fussy cut, and attached her with foam tape. Peace.

Good morning friends. I'd like to enter my card below into the following challenges today:

I stamped the cute little dragon with pumpkin (Happy Hauntings from Simon Says Stamp) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder (sentiment done same way), then colored with Copics. I fussy cut and attached with foam tape, then added some little gemstone stickers for sparkle. Peace.
