Rainbow Baby & Happy Anniversary

Life has been so busy the past week! I finally have a day to spend doing whatever I want - so you know I'll be in my craft room!  I'm working on my art journal today, it's become something I enjoy so very much. I put a lot of pressure on myself and I am too sensitive for my own good so I find creating stuff just for me takes away the need to be "perfect" - and it's ironic how doing so tends to bring out my best work. Anyway, today I have a little card I'd like to enter into the following challenges:

Clean and Simple on Friday - Rainbows

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Add a Rainbow of Color

My daughter just gave birth to her rainbow baby, so I made a card for her. I used Distress Spray Stains to create the rainbow-colored background on watercolor paper. Printed out Over the Rainbow from A Day for Daisies, colored with Copics and glitter, fussy cut, then attached with foam tape. I printed out the sentiment and tore around it, then attached that with foam tape also.

...............................

And I've got one more to squeeze into the:

Double Trouble Raffle - Yellow Ticket: Wedding/Anniversary

The stamp set I used is called Beautiful World from Hero Arts (no longer available on their site but there's a few on clearance at the Frantic Stamper here). I stamped directly on a white card base with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics and sponged some black ink around the edges. I added a strip of red cardstock that I cut with decorative scissors and added some rhinestone stickers for bling. Peace.
