Bunnies & Peace

What day is it?
hee hee

Today we have a new challenge for you at:

We are being sponsored by A Day for Daisies and I used Bunny in a Tulip, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  Papers & "So Sweet" chipboard piece are from My Mind's Eye.  Brads are from my stash.

I turned my ATC into a card for the following challenges:

My TIP is this:  Use your ATC's and turn them into something else:  cards, tags, bookmarks, refrigerator magnets... I happen to have a lot of ATC's because I run an ATC challenge blog, so I do this quite a bit!  :)
....................................................................................
My next card is for the following challenges:

This was so simple to make - I just layered a piece of frayed white cardstock onto an orange card, then attached a bunch of orange gemstone stickers and an orange glittery peace sign sticker.  Voila - quickest card I ever made!  :)  Peace.

love yourself & DICC #74

Woke up to the sun shining today - such a nice change!  I was supposed to go out and do errands yesterday but it was rainy and gloomy and I just didn't feel like it.  I'm glad I waited, today is a much nicer day for running around!

But first - I'd like to enter this card below into the following challenges:

I used a digi stamp I got from ppinkysdollart on Etsy, artist is Chrisanthi - I just love her style.  I colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  Paper is from MME, ribbon is from SU!  The notetab die and "love yourself" stamp are from My Favorite Things.

And next - we have a new itinerary challenge for you today at:

Our sponsors are Delicious Doodles/Darkness & Rick St. Dennis.  My image is from Delicious Doodles:

I made a bookmark and used a quote from Poe's The Raven for my background.  Come play along with us for a chance to win a prize from these fantastic sponsors.  Peace.

A Random Fan & Stampotique

Good morning, friends.  Woke up to a gray sky and rain, but it's still better than snow.  I cannot wait to be able to have my windows open and see the sunshine for more than 10 minutes.  LOL
I was able to make the following card for both of the challenges at A Random Fan, so this is for the:
I used Noah the Cowboy, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  I added some real buttons for the eyes of his stick-horse (his transportation!), and fussy-cut him out.  I used some of the words from the DP (which is from Carta Bella) to create the sentiment on the little flag coming out of his gun. Finished it off with a little charm I had from Joann's.
....................................................................
I'd like to squeeze this one into the:

stamped my little angel on some Confetti cardstock from Stampin' Up! and tore around her, then inked the edges.  Her wings are colored with Gold Stickles.  I used the art definition stamp for the background, and then spritzed with Log Cabin & Spun Sugar Smooch Spritzes.  Added a piece of rickrack I had in my stash.  Peace.

Birthday Cards & Card Shark Birds :)

Happy Sunday - I've bee a busy girl this weekend, working hard to get some cards made in order to enter some challenge deadlines.  So first up is a card I made for the following challenges:

Crafting by Design:  Colors of the Sea plus 3 from itinerary (I used #'s 1, 7, and 9)

I used Swimming with the Fish Mermaid from A Day for Daisies, printed on DP (Authentique) and colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits with lots of added Stickles in Frosted Lace.  I attached a little wooden star I had, colored it with Gold Stickles & drew on a couple of eyes so he'd look like a starfish.  hee hee

And this next card is for the following challenges:

I used a past freebie, You Color my World, from Whiff of Joy.  I colored it with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and kept it pretty clean & simple.  Papers are from My Mind's Eye (one of my favorite pads, it's called Handsome Boy or Fine & Dandy Boy (they must have changed the name because I have 2 identical pads with different names).  I added the sentiment with my Dymo Caption Maker.

And last but not least - for the:

From the Heart Sketch Challenge

I used Birdbrain Card Sharks, paper-pieced and colored with a variety of mediums.  I used mini playing cards in the background - papers are from Carta Bella. Peace.

Just Some Lines & Tiddly Inks

I would also like to enter this into the following challenges:

I used 392: Amalia Easter Bunny, colored with Prismacolor markers, pencils, and mineral spirits.  I added yellow & orange Stickles to the egg, some pretty paper flowers with a button center, and the sentiment was made with little alpha beads.  Paper & ribbon are from Stampin' Up!  Peace.

Dragon Luck

Hello friends - thoughts and prayers are with the city of Boston this morning, we lost 2 firefighters yesterday.  Tragic and heart-breaking.  My brother-in-law is a firefighter, so this stuff hits really close to home for me. :(

Today I have a super cute (if I do say so myself) card for the:

I am also entering this into the following challenges:

I used the adorable Dragon Luck digi, colored with Prismacolor markers, pencils, and mineral spirits.  Added lots of Stickles, then used the negative from a die-cut to create a frame around the little guy.  I attached it with pop-up dots.  Papers are from My Mind's Eye.  I love those little ladybug embellies that I seemed to have a million of at one point... added a paper flower with a button center and 3 of those sweet ladybugs.  Text stickers are from Tim Holtz.  Peace.
