Christmas Fishes

I gotta say, I have had just about enough of making Christmas cards!  LOL   However, I might have a few that haven't been posted yet so you may see a handful more from me between now and New Year's Day, but then I'm DONE!  ;)  I'm entering the card below into the following challenges:

Colorful Options - Red, Green, and Gold

Die Cut Divas - Fancy/Uneven Edge on One Side of Card

Cut It Up #320 - Anything Goes (with a die cut)

Double "D" Challenges - Christmas Trees

Fab n' Funky - Anything But Square

I used a piece of kraft cardstock for my base, I sprayed it with Red & Green Distress Spray Stains, then some gold Mica Spray Stain.  I used a die cut with ragged edges to create the uneven edges at the bottom, then inked the edges of the whole thing. I stamped my tree image from Clearly Besotted Stamps directly on the kraft and colored with alcohol markers and some glitter glue.  I stamped the fish on white cardstock and colored with alcohol markers, then fussy-cut them out and attached with foam dimensional tape.  Peace.

Christmas Magic

The week between Christmas and New Year's is so weird - I never know what day it is. LOL I managed to contract some type of cold and I can't stop sneezing. I didn't have much energy so I spent the day in my craft room today, it was lovely.  I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Christmas with the Cuties - Cute & Christmassy

Colorful Options - Red, Green, and Gold

Crafty Calendar December

Double "D" Challenge - Christmas Trees

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #291

My papers are from Doodlebug Designs.  I printed out Baby 'Bominable's Christmas Tree from Sweet November Stamps (freebie, no longer available), colored him with alcohol markers and fussy-cut the top part.  I added some Gold Stickles, some giant pearl-like sticker gems, and a candy cane brad, along with a kraft sentiment (Unity Stamps). Peace.

'tis the season

I began playing along with the Sweet November Facebook challenges several months ago, and this beautiful mermaid Song of the Sea was one of just a few of their images that I owned, so I used her for several challenges and then decided to make it a personal challenge to use her for every single month's theme throughout 2024.  LOL  So here she is in her final month, all ready for Christmas!  ;)

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Use Dies in DieCember

The Crafting Challenge - Christmas

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #745 - New/Anything Goes

AllSorts - Anything Goes/Optional Use Your Dies

I created my background by spritzing some red & green Mica Sprays on watercolor paper.  I die cut a circle from the center and matted it on a red cardstock base.  I printed the mermaid, colored her with alcohol markers & added some white pen marks, then fussy-cut her and attached her with foam dimensional tape.  I used another die on the bottom with the sentiment sticker.  I added some pearl stickers and a snowflake "Shape Seal" from Tim Holtz.  Peace.
