It's a Wrap

Busy day!  I'd like to enter this little gift packaging project into the

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - It's a Wrap (parcel/packaging/tag/envelope)

I recycled some kraft paper and used Mica Spray on it, then stamped some snowflakes and "Merry Christmas" all over it.  I added a die-cut tag, sprayed with more of the same Mica Spray, and tied it with a black twine ribbon.  Peace.

It's a Beautiful Day...

Can you believe Christmas is only 5 days away?!?  It came quick this year because Thanksgiving was so late! I finally finished my shopping yesterday, I just HAVE TO share these AI pics I had done of my 2 oldest granddaughters, I made them each a "Book of Shadows" with their picture as the cover.  They have always been fascinated with the fact that Grammy is a witch and they talk about being little witches - I cannot wait to give them their books!  Here they are, Raeana is almost 6 and Lisey (Analiz) is 4.5:

OK so on to business!  I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp - Use Dies in DieCember

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Anything Goes

We Love 2 Create Week 11 - Anything Goes

Fab n' Funky #607 - Anything But Square

Crafts Galore Encore - Anything Goes

I used some Kraft cardstock and cut a frame out of 2 different sized die cuts, then stamped directly on the cardstock itself with Versafine Black (stamps are from Globeland) and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I used a sponge to apply some ink on the frame, then added the sentiment stickers. I finished it off with some diamond-shaped gemstone stickers in black. Peace.

Family Loving Christmas

Popping in quick to post the card below for the following challenges:

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Winter or Christmas

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - New/Anything Goes

Crafty Gals - Anything Goes/Optional Make it Merry

Stamping Sensations - Anything Goes/Optional Winter

Sweet Stampin' - Christmas

I created my background by blending distress inks on watercolor paper, and then I used a stencil with more distress ink.  I stamped Mrs. Claus from CC Designs on white cardstock, colored her with alcohol markers and fussy-cut her out, then attached her with foam dimensional tape.  I used some Glossy Accents on her glasses, and stamped the sentiment directly on the background paper.  Peace.

'tis the season

I had bad dreams all night last night and I woke up feeling weepy and emotional, so strange.  I did take Nyquil before bed, I wonder if that did it?  I'm spending the day in the kitchen baking cookies, hoping that will help bring me out of this silly funk (I'm cracking up - as soon as I finished typing this, the song "Bad Dreams" by Teddy Swimm just came on my playlist!  LOL).

I'd like to enter this card below into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Use Dies in Die-Cember

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Winter or Christmas

Die Cut Divas - Uneven/Fancy Edge on at Least One Outside Edge of Card

Creative Knockouts #536 - Make it Merry

Creative Inspiration #21 - Anything Goes

I created my background by using my Cloud Edger stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (use my DT code JennFan10 for 10% off!), then I used one of the dies from the Sizzix - Tim Holtz - Alterations Collections - Thinlits Dies Mixed Media to create the snowflake effect along the top edge of the card. I printed out my Fairwee: Snow Flurry Emaline image from Sweet November Stamps with one regular and one image reversed.  I colored them with Copics and some Fun Flock.  I die cut the fence with a gray cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped & matted on a coordinating piece of tiny cardstock. Peace.

Been there, done that

The weather has been so weird - we're normally FREEZING right now in central Massachusetts but today it's already 51 in the morning and raining. Poor Santa might have trouble with that sleigh next week if we don't get some snow!  ;)

I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Cut it Up #319 - Use More than One Die Cut

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

WeLove2Create - Anything Goes

Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge #586 - Anything Goes

I created my background by using Lindy's Magicals on a piece of watercolor paper, then I used a cool inlay Window Sphere Die from Altenew and matted it on a piece of cardstock that coordinated with some of the colors in the Lindy's Magicals powders. I then cut the cat die cuts (INFUNLY brand) from black cardstock and attached them to the top of the card, adding some white pen dots for their eyes.  I used a snarky sticker sentiment from one of the Tim Holtz sticker books and matted it on the same colored cardstock that I used for the base (Stampin' Up! Mustard). Peace.
