Welcome 2025!

Super excited to announce that I've joined the All Dressed Up Facebook Design Team! We have a challenge running on the Facebook page here (theme is Celebrations) until December 31st.  Our new release today has 3 fun new digis and I used Happy 2025:

I printed my image, then masked her and created my background around her by blending Distress Inks on watercolor paper.  I colored her with alcohol markers and some Stickles Glitter Glue.  I'd like to enter her into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Make it Sparkle

The Sisterhood of Crafters - Anything Goes

Digi Choosday #48 - Anything Goes

Crafty Catz #684 - Anything Goes

All Dressed Up - Anything Goes

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Peace.

Polkadoodles DT - Elvis Wesley Moose

So thrilled to announce that I have joined the Polkadoodles Design Team!  So my first project will be for our Week 49 challenge - always Anything Goes! I'd like to enter this first card into the following challenges:

Crafty Calendar - December

Sweet Stampin' - Christmas Creations

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Make it Sparkle

Classic Design Challenge - Anything Goes/Optional Bells & Baubles

Try it on Tuesday - Traditional Christmas

Mistletoe Hello Elvis Wesley card:  I used Printable Papers 3 - Winnie White Christmas for my background and coordinating paper to paper-piece his sweater.  I colored Mistletoe Hello - Elvis Wesley Moose with alcohol markers and used red Stickles glue to highlight his scarf and the berries in the mistletoe.  I attached him and the sentiment with foam dimensional tape, then dragged the edges of the card through a red ink pad.

Choosing the Christmas Tree card:  I used Printable Papers 3 - Winnie White Christmas for the background, then colored Choosing the Christmas Tree Elvis Wesley Moose with alcohol markers.  I used some white Fun Flock on his hat and for snow accents on the tree.  I attached him and the sentiment with foam dimensional tape.  I then fussy-cut a couple of the candy canes from the paper to use as accents on the sentiment.

Have a great weekend!  Peace.

for you with love

Happy Friday!  I spent the morning baking cookies for my town's Tree Lighting Ceremony celebration tomorrow. I live in a fairly small town and they do a lot of fun community stuff.  Tonight we're going to a local brewery's barn with some friends to listen to a band and have a few drinks, I'm looking forward to it!

I'd like to enter this tag below into the following challenges:

Paperminutes #875 - Merry Christmas, But NO CARD

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #586 - Anything Goes

A Cut Above - Anything Goes with a Die Cut

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Make it Sparkle

Cut it Up #318 - Sparkle & Shine

I used a tag die from Mama Elephant, cut from some watercolor paper that I blended distress inks on and then spritzed with water.  I stamped the tree & sentiment from Simon Says Stamp directly on the tag with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I colored the tree with alcohol markers, Stickles Glitter Glue, and Cosmic Shimmer Fluffy Stuff. Peace.

The magic of Christmas

Woke up to snow today, so pretty! I hope we have some for Christmas, I love a white Christmas!  I'd like to share the card below with the following challenges:

AllSorts - Winter Flora or Fauna/Anything Goes

Creative Knockouts - Time to be Merry

Creative Inspiration #21 - Anything Goes

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Triple B - Inspiration Board

I love seeing cardinals in the winter - their bright red feathers against the white snow is always such a beautiful sight.  And cardinals are known to be messengers of the spiritual realm, which makes them extra special. I created my background by blending Distress Inks on watercolor paper and misting with water, then splashing some red Distress Spray Stain all over it.  I stamped my bird from Dina Wakley with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder, then colored with alcohol markers.  Sentiment is from Gina K, also stamped with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Peace.

I Hope You Get Everything on Your List!

Hi there!  I went Christmas shopping yesterday and holy cow, is it expensive this year?!? I got about 3/4 of it done, still have a few things to pick up but it was a zoo out there.  LOL I am hoping to do most of the rest of if online, but I'm going out with my mom next week so hopefully that'll wrap it up!  For today, I have a Christmas card that I'd like to enter into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Winter Blues

Try it on Tuesday - Traditional Christmas

A Perfect Time to Craft - Anything Goes

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Stamping Sensations - Anything Goes/Optional Winter

I created my background by blending Distress Inks on watercolor paper and spritzing with water.  Stamps are from Unity Stamps, stamped with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I added some Fun Flock to Santa's hat and kept it pretty clean and simple.  Peace.

Santa's Helper

Can you believe it's already December 1?  Thanksgiving was late this year, Christmas is going to sneak right up on us!  My daughter and the kids are coming over this afternoon for my famous "Thanksgiving leftover casserole" and we're going to put up my tree & decorate it. There's nothing like watching the joy on the faces of little ones excited about Christmas!  :)

I'd like to enter my little Santa's Helper card into the following challenges:

Crafty Catz #683 - Anything Goes/Optional Blue Christmas

Stamping Sensations - Anything Goes/Optional Winter

We Love Stamping - Winter

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes

Creative Knockouts - Tis the Season

The digi image is called Santa's Helper from Rachelle Anne Miller, colored with alcohol markers and a little Fun Flock.  Papers are from Doodlebug Designs (I have SO MANY paper pads from them, I've been trying to force myself to use some up because I've become addicted to creating my own background so my poor patterned papers are being neglected!). Peace.
