Happy Birthday To You!

I have been out straight for over a week and I am sooooo itching to get back into my craft room today! It's been fun being out in the "real world" but I do find my crafting brings me peace. Peace is something I need this year, so I'm spending as much time as possible in there.  The bonus is that I feel like my skills have improved and I've had many people ask to purchase my cards after I post them! Not only is that a confidence builder in itself, but it also helps financially! LOL

I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Focus on the Sentiment

AllSorts #828 - Anything Goes/Optional Pretty Flowers

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

Inkspirational #346 - Word Prompt "Birthday"

Just Us Girls #785 - Stencils

I made a one layer card by reverse stenciling with my Praise Burst stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (use code JennFan10 for 10% off your entire order!) with some Broken China and Black Soot Oxide Inks. I stamped HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU (stamp from Papertrey Ink) in the middle with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder, then sponged black ink on the edges of the card. Peace.

  1. It took me a minute to see that this card was stenciled, Jenn, but the reverse of that burst stencil worked beautifully. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
