Isn't it funny how much the weather affects our mood? I woke up to a dark, drizzly morning and my mood kinda matches that. The older I get, the harder it is to, well, not worry all the time. About EVERYTHING. And let's face it, the older we get the more heartbreak we experience, right? This year is just full of heartbreak and I am just really looking forward to it being over - and it's only halfway there. LOL Anyway, this card is forcing the sunshine in my life today and I will take it! I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
AAA Birthday #75 - Summer Birthday
Just Us Girls Die Week - Summer Dies
I created my background by blending Distress Oxide Ink on watercolor paper and spritzing with water, then blotting with a paper towel. I used the same yellow to die cut the sun from. I then used Lindy's Magicals on another piece of watercolor paper and cut the paper strip, the sentiment, and the die cut fancy edge circle from it - and I used the same color on the chipboard "Sunshine" text. Peace.
Your pretty vibrant watercolors in yellow and blue sunny card is such a happy one! That sun die is fun and I have not seen that anywhere before. Thank you for the sunshine you 've added to our Just Us Girls gallery this week!
ReplyDeleteThank you - I believe the sun die is from Hero Arts!
