A Happy Hello & May All Your Weeds be Wildflowers

I've got 2 cards to share today - the first is for the following challenges:

AllSorts #827 - Anything Goes/Optional For a Child

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Penny's Paper Crafty - Anything Goes

Color Dare #658

My first entry for Color Dare #658 had an extra color in it so I deleted it and started again!  LOL  I love their challenges so I try to play along with each one at least once! I think I got this one right - it's a little ATC and I used yellow & blue along with gray (also black and white). I printed out the cute little digi called Bath Time Duck from Lili of the Valley and colored with Copics, then used circle dies to cut out. My background is Oxide Inks blended on watercolor paper and spritzed with water. I added some gemstone stickers to finish it off!

And this card below is for the following challenges:

A Cut Above July - Anything Goes

As You Like It - Fave Color Combo (pink & orange is another of my favorite combos!)

Try it on Tuesday - Summer Blooms

Stamping Sensation - Anything Goes/Optional Summer Flowers

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Morgan's Art World #90 July - Anything Goes

Color Throwdown #836

I created my background by using the ink smooshing technique on watercolor paper - one of my favorite techniques! I die cut the Garden Trellis Cover Die from Altenew from a piece of kraft cardstock and layered it on top of the background. I stamped the image from the Plant a Garden set from Pink & Main with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder on another piece of the distressed/ink smooshed watercolor paper. I colored just the flowers with Copics and matted it inside a Kraft polaroid frame die cut, then attached some gemstone stickers to it. Peace.

  1. So lovely! That water color smooshed background looks great with the die cut craft panel. Really sets it off and the polaroid frame is awesome. I may be adding that to my stash. Thanks for sharing with the July challenge at A Cut Above.
