be brave & Sing Your Heart Out

Happy Friday!  I'm taking my youngest granddaughter, Millie (3 years old), tonight for a sleepover. I'm really looking forward to it, she's a lot of fun! I'm going shopping later this morning and I'm going to get her a new nightgown (she LOVES nightgowns, she's such a girlie girl!) and a Barbie. Gotta spoil her a tiny bit at Grammy's, you know.  :)

I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

The Sisterhood of Crafters - Stripes and/or Dots

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Color Throwdown #836

I die cut the kraft circle and then layered the paper strips on a piece of scrap paper and die cut those to layer across the kraft one, then sponged the edges in black. I used a piece of text paper from Dina Wakley for the background. I stamped the "be brave" & die cut (both from Spellbinders) on another piece of text paper and attached with foam dimensional tape.

One more for today - this one is for the following challenges:

Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Emboss It

Crafty Gals #269 - _______ in July (Birthday in July!)

Die Cut Divas - Birthday

Color Hues #113

I created my background by ink smooshing a flat red Lindy's Magicals on watercolor paper. I die cut the hearts, stamped the Queen of Hearts from CC Designs with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics and Stickles & fussy cut her, then attached with foam dimensional tape. I added some gemstone stickers to finish it off. Peace.
