Hello friends - welcome to the:
You should have arrived here from Evil Edna's blog. I've got 2 projects to share with you for today's hop. My fellow teamies and I at the Movie Magic Monthly Challenge blog decided to play along by creating projects based on a movie. My card is based on Pirates of the Caribbean, one of my all-time favorite movies:
I found this image at a "free coloring pages" site online, printed it on kraft cardstock and colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits, then covered his eye patch with Black Diamond Stickles. I used a piece of Tim Holtz Kraft map paper crumpled up and dragged through a gray ink pad for the background. Embellies include black pearls (get it? The Black Pearl? ;) I'm so clever, right? hee hee), a little Glow Skull, and a skull key charm. Head on over to see what the other DT members created!
I could not resist using this freebie from Rick St. Dennis for my personal project for this fun hop:
I printed the image onto my DP from Authentique, and colored it with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits. I created a round card base with my Coluzzle, and then used smaller circles for the image and to layer behind it. I added some gemstone stickers, some text and alpha stickers, white fun flock on the feathers, and this little flower I had in my stash that happened to match perfectly. I love how this came out!
And I figured I might as well enter him into the Rick St. Dennis Airless Chambers Challenge: Anything But a Square/No Sharp Corners
