Whimsie Doodles & Fun with ATC's

OK peeps, it's official - Cass takes her GED test on May 1 & May 3, and Jeremy's flying home on May 1.  So that means we should be packed up and on the road by May 5/6 at the latest.  That is, like, less than 3 weeks away.  *GULP*  LOL  I am so glad I'm working next week, it keeps me preoccupied and unable to start freaking out.  That can wait at least another week.  hee hee  Besides the thoughts of leaving friends/family, I am most anxious about packing up my crafting stuff and not being able to play with it again for at least a week.  When we unpack, trust me when I tell you that the craft stuff gets set up before I even put away clothes or kitchen stuff.  I just NEED to - it's like my therapy to be able to go sit and color.  It's so simple, but so necessary, you know?  Like my books.  No one touches my books when we move, and they all know it.  LOL  I have my beloved bookcase, and all of my books are arranged alphabetically by author, then by title.  I pack them that way and then unpack them that way - and I don't feel "right" until they are all unpacked and back in their alphabetical order on my bookshelf.  And I wonder where my daughter gets her OCD from.... HMPH.  ;)

I'm sure I'm going to be chatty for the next few weeks, so bear with me or skip through to the good stuff - here we go, first up is my card for the:

I used Cotton Candy Leah, coloring my spotlight piece with Prismacolor markers and pink Fun Flock.  DP is from My Mind's Eye, ribbon tags are scraps from my stash.  "Sweet" sentiment is from Digi Doodle Shop.

And next up is an ATC that I made for the:

The fabulous Sara Sherlock from Folded Paper Printed Pixels chose my name as a winner for a free digi from her shop just for leaving a thank-you comment on her very generous freebie post.  She's such a sweetie and I wanted her to see what I did with the image that I chose, Steampunk Butterfly.  I colored with some watered-down Perfect Pearls in silver, then added some metal brads.  DP is from My Mind's Eye - sentiment is a sticker from my stash.
Peace.
