Sunny skies but high of 33 today - brrrrr! Not quite grilling weather yet, so I made a roast chicken dinner yesterday. Today, I'll make my infamous Leftover Casserole. LOL I started doing this with Thanksgiving many years ago when my kids were little. I take everything that's left over and throw it in a casserole dish - top it with the mashed potatoes, gravy, and some shredded cheese. No one gets to pick what I put in it - it all goes in. Everyone loves it every time. My husband (anti-vegetable man) was the biggest skeptic but even he admits it's delicious every time. ;) So I'm looking forward to that, our friend Tim is coming over to spend the afternoon with us. Tim has been one of my very best friends since we were about 15, he's good for my soul. And I lucked out that him and my husband became good friends too!
I'd like to enter this card below into the:
Neglected Stuff Challenge - March Anything Goes
My neglected stuff is both the paper (Carta Bella, at least 15 years old!) and the cell phone die, I do not even remember who made it, I'm sorry! I stamped the images (from the Simon Says Stamp Texting stamp set) on the background, used a piece of acetate for the window and made a little shaker card. Side note: I hate making shaker cards. LOL They NEVER work perfectly for me. Little pieces ALWAYS end up falling out! But it still looks cute and I was pleased with the cell phone! Peace.
