Heading out this morning to pick up bagels and go visit the grandkids so they can tell us all about school! I'm so happy that they all love it - let's hope that doesn't change as the year goes on! LOL
I know it's not traditional, but this is a wedding card that I made for a good friend. I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Monday - Stamptember (no digis)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Stamptember (no digis)
Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Nature
As You Like It - Layered or Flat and Why
(it can be fun to challenge myself by trying to create depth and texture with a one layer card - using multiple colors of ink can help!)
Alphabet Challenge - K is for Keep it Simple
I created my background by ink blending Black Soot, Villainous Potion, and Broken China Distress Oxide inks on watercolor paper. I then "ink smooshed" them a bit by pressing the paper into water I had sprayed on my glass mat. Once dry, I flicked white ink all over it. I then used clear embossing ink through my Quarter Moons stencil from the September release at A Colorful Life Designs and embossed it with white embossing powder. I did the same with the stamped sentiment. You can use code JennFan10 for 10% off at the shop on top of the already discounted price below! Peace.
Such fun and creative stenciling!
