Good morning! I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:
Seize the Birthday - No Topping
AllSorts #831 - Anything Goes/Optional Birthdays
I used the ink smooshing technique with Distress Oxide inks in Scattered Straw, Ripe Persimmon, and Uncharted Mariner. I die cut the happy bday and the balloon, attaching with foam dimensional tape.

Next I have a card for the following challenges:
I stamped Alice from The Greeting Farm's Signature rubber stamp set (this one is from around 2008/2009) on Kraft cardstock with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics and sponged the edges with black ink, then matted on a piece of DP. Papers are from Echo Park - sentiment stickers are from a Tim Holtz sticker book. Peace.
I've got to try your smooching technique... beautiful and colorful background for a birthday celebration. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Dare.
ReplyDeleteA real Autumnal feel to the colour palette on your Allsorts entry, many thanks for joining us.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun technique. Makes a great background. Thanks for playing with the color dare.
ReplyDeleteGreat technique and a beautiful background. The blue is not a close enough match to the green of our challenge. Please keep sharing your artwork as we love seeing what you create. Thanks for sharing at Color Dare.
ReplyDeleteOh darn - I used "uncharted mariner" and it looked closer to a greenish blue IRL but thank you for letting me know! :)
DeleteGreat splattered background! Thank you for joining us at Color Dare.
