In loving memory...

We had a blast at the neighbor's chili cook-off yesterday. There were 11 crocks of chili entered and they were all so very different! I went over there around 1:15 expecting to spend a couple hours and then come home - I didn't end up coming home until 10:00 last night! LOL It was good for me to have fun! I even made a couple new friends. :) My best friend Tim is coming over today to start my birthday celebration week (my birthday is Wednesday) - Jeremy (hubby) got us lobsters and littlenecks and we'll have a feast on the deck. And the birthday girl will have some extra lobster to make lobster rolls tomorrow... :)  I'm a very lucky girl, and I try to remember that even when things are not going my way.

I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Color Dare #662

Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Creative Knockouts - Sparkle & Shine

Triple B - Birds, Butterflies, or Blooms

I stamped the dandelions from the Meadow of Memory set at Unity Stamp Co. directly on a watercolor panel. I sprayed some gold Lindy's Magicals spray on the card, and rubbed the edges with Versamark Clear, then sprinkled gold embossing powder over the whole thing and heat embossed it. I spot colored one dandelion with a bit of yellow Copic marker. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of white cardstock and dragged the edges through black ink. Peace.
