Back to Monday! I hope you all had a nice weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed my lobster feast yesterday and I'm looking forward to a lobster roll for lunch today! I'm picking up my middle granddaughter Lisey (she's 5) today for a sleepover tonight. When I asked her what she wanted me to make her for dinner, she goes "Um, do you have any more of those Swedish meatballs?" I was cracking up - Swedish meatballs is one of my specialties, and it takes hours to make. So I told her we'll make them together and she's super excited. I can't wait to spend the day in the kitchen with my little Bean!
I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes
Stamping Sensations - Birds/Bees/Butterflies
Festive Friday #190 (I used black, yellow, die cuts, ink blending, bees, honeycombs, bee sentiment, flowers)
I created my background by ink blending Distress Oxide Ink in Mustard Seed all over a piece of watercolor paper, misting with water, and then using a honeycomb inlay die in the center. I stamped the "bee happy" sentiment (Visible Image Stamps) directly on the background with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I matted the watercolor paper on a black card base. I printed out Darby & Bumble from Sweet November Stamps, colored with Copics and a white gel pen and some glitter, fussy cut, then attached them with foam dimensional tape to the card. Peace.
Wonderful creation and perfect for Stamping Sensations challenge. Anesha x
