Celtics Pride & I Paint My Own Reality

Squeezing a couple more cards in today - this one is for the following challenges:

Cut it Up #332 - Masculine

Creative Moments #271 - Man or Boy

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration June - One for the Boys

Night Shift Night Owls #250 - A Lot of Green

Inkspirational - Use Stencils

I created this card with the Make a Jersey stencil from the June release at A Colorful Life Designs (use code JennFan10 for 10% off your purchases at the store!). I simply layered some die cuts under it and used Distress Oxide Ink in Lucky Clover blended through the stencil, then I die cut the tiny letters to create a vintage Larry Bird Celtics shirt. LOL This was the Father's Day card for my dad, who lived and breathed the Celtics during the Larry Bird era of 1980-1988.

And this next one is for the following challenges:

I created my background by ink smooshing Distress Oxide Inks on a piece of watercolor paper and then spritzing with a dark purple Mica Spray Stain. I die cut the deckled circle from a piece of Dina Wakley Typed Ledgers, and added a belly band from purple cardstock. The stamp is from the Floral Shells set at Pink & Main, stamped with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics, fussy cut, and attached to the belly band with foam dimensional tape. Peace.

  1. Jenn, I really like that shell container for those pretty flowers! Your background is fun and colorful too with your smooshing and spritzes. Thanks for playing with us at Time Out!
