It's Great to Sea You

Popping in again to enter the card below into the following challenges:

I Love ProMarkers - Under the Sea/Anything Goes

Just Us Girls - Die Week/No Flowers

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

Creative Knockouts - Embossing Delight

I created my background by blending Dusty Concord, Villainous Potion, and Mermaid Lagoon on watercolor paper.  I then used half of the paper for the background, spritzing water all over it and blotting with a paper towel.  I cut my die cuts from the other half - heavily embossing with clear embossing powder in several layers to create dimension and depth.  The seahorse and sand dollar etched dies are like stencils, too - it's a set from Spellbinders and you can find that here.  I then added some Stickles to the sand dollar. Peace.

  1. I just got this seahorse and shell out recently and I'm glad you made a seaside card too...I was thinking I was too early for one. I really like how you colored them and the Stickles look great! Thanks for playing with us at Just Us Girls, Jenn!

  2. Jenn... I love your adorable "sea you" card (I live at the beach so I am inspired by beachy themes). The stickles just popped on your sand dollar and I love it. Thanks so much for joining the Just Us Girls gallery.

  3. Your 'sea you' card is delightful. The background 'ocean' is so pretty; a wonderful stage for your sea-themed cluster. Thank you for joining us at Just Us Girls.
