Happy Friday! Whatcha all up to this weekend? We don't really celebrate Easter, but we do celebrate 4/20 which happens to be the same day so my BFF is coming over to hang out with us and we're having lobsters and steamers, I cannot wait. We are going to our daughter's house tomorrow to have the traditional ham dinner with our grandkids, so it should be a fun weekend.
I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:
My Favorite Things - Color Challenge
Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes
As You Like It - Clean & Simple or Fussy & Fancy (and why)
I love fussy and fancy - clean and simple is hard for me! I guess it's because I love adding lots of color, textures, and embellishments to my creations!
Addicted to Stamps - Die Cuts or Stencils
I made this for my oldest granddaughter Raeana - she's 6 and she's been experimenting with her own "style"! It's so fun to watch her grow into this independent, amazing little girl. Oh and a few weeks ago someone gave her $1 and then she went around shaking everyone down for dollars and ended up with almost $20 at the end of the day! ROFL So I have cards for all the kids this weekend with a $5 bill in them, they are going to be so excited. LOL
Anyway - I created my background by using the ink smooshing technique - I love the way the yellow and blue inks blend together to add that green! I stamped the cute girl from the Unicorns & Glitter set at MFT with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored her with Copics and a white gel pen, added some glitter, fussy cut and attached with foam dimensional tape to the die cut tag. I added a filmstrip die and some gemstone stickers. Peace.
