Oooooh - I just LOVED the challenge at Tiddly Inks this week - the theme is:
We could base our creation on a particular book, or just on a reading theme in general. I decided to base my card on one of my favorite author's books - Stephen King's "The Shining":
Do you like? hee hee I had SO MUCH FUN making it. I used the Vintage Typewriter image, then I just printed out "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" in small font and put it in the typewriter. :) I then printed "REDRUM" in red child's handwriting font on white cardstock and splattered red paint all over it to look like blood. I printed out the title and tore it out, then mounted it on black cardstock.
Next up is my card for the:
I used another Tiddly Inks image, Lil Lolita, colored her with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits. Cardstock, DP, and ribbon scraps are from SU! Button is from foof-a-la - gemstone stickers are from my stash.
Peace.
