Tiddly Inks & D2D

I have another sample card to show you today featuring one of Christy's new Steampunk images from Tiddly Inks...


This sweet Mermaid is one of my favorite of the new images.  I printed her once and then again a bit larger, and also printed out the magnifying glass image.  I then cut out the middle of the magnifying glass and mounted it over the larger image's face after I had colored it in.  Then I filled it in with Crystal Effects to create a glassy look.  I love the way it looks, what do you think?  I am also entering it into this week's challenge at:

 I colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  Cardstock, DP, brads and rub-on stitching are from Stampin' Up!

    These are fabulous!! I LOVE what you did with the magnifying glass...how clever! =D The snowman on your second card is just adorable. Love the sentiment and how it's distressed. I definitely know how he feels! =D
