Two Post MONDAY!

I have been on a roll with these challenges - I just love the way they get your creativity flowing! This one is for the Club Anya "Pattern Me Not" challenge - I couldn't use any patterned/background papers. It was challenging - but fun! I love Santa Ian, I used SU! Real Red, Whisper White, and Basic Black papers. I used a soda tab for my belt buckle, and a piece of black grosgrain ribbon. I smeared the paper with black ink to give it a "charcoaled" look. Whaddayathink?

I couldn't NOT ink up Santa Anya once I took this set out, so I made this one, too:
Then I stumbled across the Etsy Inspired Challenge blog this week because Whimsie Doodles is sponsoring it and I "heart" Whimsie Doodles... anyway, the challenge was to visit the shop and get inspired by one of the photos - this was what I came up with, and I was inspired by a gorgeous picture of the sun's rays shining through the trees onto the grass, it's just beautiful and it's called Good Morning, Kansas (click to see) - by Jared May.

I used SU! Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, and coordinating Designer Series papers, along with SU! Not Quite Navy brads.

  1. Great take on the challenge, those are awesome xmas cards!

  2. Ohhh, that EtsyInspired card is lovely! I really like the papers and colors you used! Very pretty! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week! Also, your Xmas cards are way cute too!

  3. Love all your cards! Those Anya's are so cute! The EIC card is so nice! I love your inspiration piece too.

Thanks for playing EtsyInspired this week!
