Clarity and Peace

Good morning!  Off to spend the day in my craft room to make Valentine cards for my 2 granddaughters classrooms!  They are in kindergarten and 1st grade, and have requested Hello Kitty and an axolotl - I will share the results later!  LOL

For today, I have the card below for the following challenges:

Double D - Vintage/Shabby Chic

Paper Funday #84 - Anything Goes/Optional Pastel Colors

Wednesday's Creative Inspiration - Think Pink

Beautiful Blossoms #37 - Anything Florals Goes (optional mood board)

Path of Positivity #138 - Anything Positive Goes/Optional Dynamic Duo

I had this adorable ephemera of a shabby chic coffee cup, it's just paper - I was immediately inspired by it - in my stash.  I had some paper that coordinated with it also in my stash so I pulled that out, fussy cut the cup and attached a kraft sentiment strip (Unity Stamp Co.) to it. Peace.

  1. It's a very pretty cup and papers, I wouldn't mind having a real cup like that myself!

  5. Jenn, your beautiful coffee themed card is so peaceful and calming! (I'm thinking you may need coffee after spending time with your two little grand-daughters after they share all the Valentines they collected as their school parties. And how special they must have felt to have a Grandma who makes cards especially for them to share with their friends. I recently retired after teacher drug prevention for over 40 years. One of the many things that I learned during that time is how important it is for youth to have adults in their lives that they know care about them! You definitely are one of those people! So, you might not have realized it, but when you spend time with them, encouraging and validating who they are and what you love about them, has been found to prevent drug/alcohol use... and other high risk behaviors. So... keep doing what you are doing Grandma. And keep doing it as they grow into adults. You are planting some wonderful roots! (Oh and thanks for so much for entering your card into the Path of Positivity Challenge.) Kathy A
