The Greeting Farm - Guest DT for January - Wishing You Wonderful Things

Good morning!  I was so excited to be asked to be a guest designer for the month of January for The Greeting Farm!  The Greeting Farm has been one of my favorite stamp companies for many, many years now - I have amassed quite a collection of stamps and digis from them, so my biggest problem was trying to decide which of these adorable images to use!  I decided to go with Wonder Anya for my first project:

I created my background by blending a light purple distress ink on watercolor paper, then a darker shade of purple through my Harlequin stencil, then spritzing with water and blotting with a paper towel. I made the "keyhole" by hand, simply traced it on another piece of watercolor paper that I had blended distress inks on to create a sunrise effect and cut it out with scissors.  I used a grass die cut for the bottom of the keyhole.  I then stamped all of the images onto a heavy duty white cardstock with Versafine Black, embossed with clear embossing powder and colored them with alcohol markers.  I fussy-cut them all out and attached them with foam dimensional tape.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Something New (the stamp)

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Something New (the stamp)

Stencil Fun - Anything Goes/Optional Hello Winter

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting!  Peace.
