Good morning! Today’s card is special to me. My family has moved a lot over the past 20
years or so, and I’ve learned not to get too attached to physical
properties. It’s not the house that
makes the home – it’s the people and the love inside it. I certainly understand the nostalgia that
goes along with visiting a house you grew up in, especially because my parents
still live in the same house that I lived in from the time I was 5 until I was
20. However, the memories are tied to
emotional moments and people more than any physical or tangible “thing” – does that
make sense? Anyway, I believe that you
make “home” wherever you are by filling it with love and memories, friends and
family:
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
This sandcastle image was from Making Our Mark but I can't seem to find them online anymore. I colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and used some paper scraps from my stash, along with a ribbon & a heart-shaped gem sticker embellie. Peace.
FANTASTIC Card!!! Thanks!!!
