Good morning, friends!
Today I have a card for our new challenge at:
I am entering my Friday card into the following challenges:
Crafts Too Challenge You: Choose Your Decade or Era (I chose the '50's, for when Frida passed away)
Come see how we celebrated Frida's life in our artwork - we have a couple of links if you're interested in reading about this Mexican artist, too. I used #340: Frida's Sugar Skull, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and Stickles and then fussy-cut out and layered onto this pretty Halloween paper from Echo Park.
We also have a Stamp Spotlight post for you today at:
Our spotlight image this week is the lovely Dancing Fairy:
I am entering my fairy card into the following challenges:
Aud Sentiments: Two Words (discover yourself)
I printed my image directly on the DP, then paper-pieced her dress and colored the rest of her with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits. I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (SU!) to her wings, wand, and shoes. Papers are from MME - I added a couple of ribbon tags, some little pink gemstone stickers, a charm, and the text stickers are from Tim Holtz Idea-ology line.
