Less People - More Gnomes

 Good morning!  I was honored to be asked to be a guest designer for the new challenge at:

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #274 - G is for Gnome

Funny story about gnomes - I once mentioned to my mom that I thought they were cute, I think we were at TJ Maxx and I bought one for my garden area.  Next thing I knew, she was buying me gnome EVERYTHING.... she thought I collected them!  I didn't have the heart to tell her I don't, so now I kinda do.... ROFL  ;) I have gnome dish towels, figurines, signs, garden gnomes, t-shirts, pj pants... hee hee  Gotta love moms!  Anyway, on to the reason you're here!

I decided to go with some art journaling for this one:

I used clipart from the Watercolor Gnome Ladies set from WondersArtist on Etsy. I used some Gesso on the pages, then applied Lindy's Magicals and let them dry. I used a stencil (with ink for the leaves, I used texture paste for the moon & stars) on the background, blended some brown inks around the edges, and added some die cut trees, leaves, and mushrooms. On the right page, I flicked some dark brown ink spray on the pages and stamped the snarky sentiments from Ink Road Stamps with permanent black ink. Added more die cuts and touches of glitter.
