I have to tell you - taking the Tiffany Solorio course last weekend really helped me use up some of my background stash! Here's an example below - I had this background in my stash but it was... boring. I was inspired by Tiffany and ended up really pleased with how this came out. I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:
Alphabet Challenge - T is for Texture
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes
Time Out #305- Favorite Card Making Technique (ink smooshing!)
As You Like It - Favorite Die and Why (I love circle dies because they are so versatile!)
Krafty Chicks #805 - AG with Twist: Embossing
I miss the Hero Arts challenges! I used some texture paste that I added silver Mica Spray Stain to and applied it through a star stencil in the upper corner. I stamped the text in the upper right corner with white pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I stamped the image & sentiment from Hero Arts Where to Next set (currently on sale!) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored in the mountains only with a silver gel pen. I cut a crescent moon from 2 circle dies and spritzed it with Frozen Fog Mica Spray Stain and attached it with tiny foam dots, then I flicked some more of the Frozen Fog Mica Spray on the entire card. Peace.
