Hello all - I hope you are all having a wonderful week. I'm going for a new tattoo tomorrow - a coverup actually - and I'm super excited. I'm sure I'll share it Friday when I do my post! :) I have a lot of ink - working on finishing my right arm sleeve this Summer.
I would like to enter the card below into the following challenges:
Art Nudge May (I used 525C)
Try it On Tuesday - Keep it Simple
I recently realized I'm a very literal person - seriously, I'm almost 54 years old and I never realized that. So, for challenges, I usually take them very literally - if it's a sketch or color challenge, I try really hard to use the EXACT design or colors. I loved this color challenge - I used Sage & Amethyst Distress Oxide inks blended through a stencil on watercolor paper. I stamped directly on the background - stamps are from the Beautiful Unicorn set at Unity Stamp Co - with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. Peace.
That's a great birthday card and would fit perfectly with the challenge colours of the AAA Colourful Challenges. But for now thank you for playing at the AAA Birthday Card Challenges
ReplyDeletePretty stamp and card, Jenn! Love the stenciled background and that you tilted it instead of doing it straight on. Great birthday card! Thanks for playing along at Seize the Birthday.
ReplyDeleteThanks for noticing! ;) I appreciate your comments!

I get what you mean about being literal with the challenges! I’m getting a little more loose the longer I have stamped, but I still tend to want to make it more little literal. You did a beautiful job on these challenges with this project. I love the colors you used. Thanks for joining #ArtNudge!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love that color combo! Thanks for playing the Art Nudge Challenge!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the Art Nudge colors and a very pretty image and card. Love the netting in the background. I am pretty literal with challenges too - I think I got that later in life. Thanks for joining us and I am sorry I am so late commenting (technical difficulties).
