Paper Strips!

Woke up to more snow! Hubby is heading out to clean it all up - we are heading to our daughter's around noon to have lunch with the grandkids before coming home to have a few friends over.

I told you guys I spent some time playing with my scraps last week, I have 2 cards below that I used some scraps to create. I'd like to enter this card here into the following challenges:

Triple B - Anything Goes with Birds, Butterflies, Blooms

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Bright & Cheerful

Night Owls #45 - 3 Colors of Your Choice

Festive Friday - Use 3 (Red, Pink, Heat Embossing)

CAS Colours & Sketches #553

I used a bunch of paper strips in the colors for the CAS challenge on a white card base to create this card.  I stamped the butterfly from Visible Image with Versamark Clear and embossed with Ranger's Aqua Tinsel embossing powder. I fussy cut the butterfly and attached with a foam dimensional dot. I added a sticker sentiment from a Tim Holtz book and some red gemstone stickers.

.........................................................

And this next one I'd like to enter into the following challenges:

Crafts Galore Encore #132 - Anything Goes

613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes/Optional Lots of Love

AllSorts #816 - Anything Goes/Romance or Music Optional

Color Throwdown #826

I used paper strips in the colors called for in the Color Throwdown challenge. I found these sequins I got as a freebie during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration this year.  The Dahlia Stem from Simon Says Stamp was die cut from white cardstock and I added a little sticker sentiment from my stash. Peace.
