This is my 3rd week guest designing for the Just Us Girls Challenge. We have an inspiration board for you this week:
I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Christmas Crafts All Year Long - Deer/Reindeer
A Perfect Time to Craft- Anything Goes
We Love to Create #10 - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp Monday - Emboss It
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Sparkle & Shine
I used a stencil on watercolor paper, and used some washi tape to leave the edges white - then blended Candied Apple Distress Ink over the paper. I printed out my reindeer/penguin digi stamp from Whimsie Doodles (no longer an active company) and colored it with alcohol inks, then attached with foam dimensional tape. I stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant on the same watercolor paper that I used some extra red ink on, and embossed it with a sparkly clear embossing powder. I added some Stickles glue to the reindeer's nose & the Christmas lights, then some Fun Flock to the reindeer's chest and the penguin's hat. Peace.
Such a cute inspired card 😊
ReplyDeleteWe both went for the reindeer in the moodboard! Love that sentiment too!!! Cute way to go this week Jenn!
ReplyDeleteI went with the reindeer too! This is such a cute card, Jenn. I Love the background and that adorable penguin.

That reindeer with the lights tangled up in his antlers and the penguin riding him is so darn cute! I love the graphic background, too. I love how you drew your inspiration from the Mood board.
ReplyDeleteYou really brought the reindeer and penguin to life with your coloring, Jenn. The added details of Stickles and Fun Flock make it even more fun.
ReplyDeleteJenn... I am so thrilled you have been our guestie this month. All of your cards are delightful! I just love the reindeer in the card above...so cute! Thank you for all of your contributions! Happy Thanksgiving!
