Today is my sister's birthday - we are one year and 3 days apart, a pair of proud Leos! She made us pedicure appointments for this morning, then I'll take her out to lunch and we'll just spend a fun sister day together, something I treasure. She bought me a beautiful Sweet Sister charm for my Pandora bracelet AND my very first Alex & Ani bracelet (the peace sign one, of course!)! And she'll find out later today, but I bought her similar gifts. hee hee Happy Birthday, Shell, you are the best sister in the world and I love you so very much. :)
Shell's Leo birthday card was made using the Zodiac Leo coloring page from Jade Dragon, along with a Leo ticket digi stamp from Stitchy Bear Stamps. Papers are digi papers from Optic Illusions.
It's also time for a new challenge at:
Dilly Beans: Monochromatic
I would like to enter this into the:
The Cupboard Trilogy: Monochrome
I made a page in my mini art journal - the background is just a bunch of alcohol inks and spritzes/sprays that I let dry before adhering the image. I also used lots of Stickles on her in varying shades of pink. Head on over to the Dilly Beans challenge to play along! :)
And last for today - we have a new challenge at:
Jellypark Challenge: Cuddly Wuddly
I printed this adorable image on DP and then paper-pieced the balloon and highlighted the hearts & his scarf with Stickles. Layered some coordinating DP for the background and tied a ribbon around it, pretty simple but cute - and he is certainly looking cuddly, is he not? :)
Peace.
