My Grafico, Fab 'n' Funky, SSDS35, & Club Anya

Did I mention... I'm on vacation..... hee hee We leave for California in just 3 days! I'll have my laptop with me, but I don't expect to be on it much - I'm really just bringing it to stave off the withdrawals (for both me and my almost-15-year-old-daughter). LOL We will be gone for 6 days, and I hope to have a ton of pictures and stories to share when we return.

So for today, I had to buy another My Grafico digi image, they are only $1.25 each and they are just so cute! This one is called Amber and the ice cream cone and the reason I had to buy it is because one of the challenges I wanted to participate in had "Neapolitan Ice Cream" as the theme... well, need I say more? I gotta tell ya - I really shouldn't even be allowed to just browse the Internet. I start going through blogs or online galleries and I see images that I've never seen before and I can feel my pulse quicken and I instantly start looking for the company name so I can go find them online and buy from them! hee hee

Anyway - I am using this card here for 3 challenges:

My Grafico Sketch Challenge

Fab 'N' Funky Challenges - Neapolitan Ice Cream (use pink, chocolate, vanilla)

Stamp, Scrap, & Doodle Saturday Challenge #35 - create a birthday card/gift

Papers are all by SU! and include Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, and DP in coordinating colors including Pretty in Pink. Amber is colored with my Prismacolor colored pencils and blended with Gamsol. "Happy Birthday" sentiment is a rub-on by SU! Coordinating brads also by SU! I bought some new stuff from My Favorite Things called "Cotton Candy Pink Sparkly Fluff" and I used that on her ice cream cone, I simply ADORE it! It's not as fine as glitter, you can't just pour it out of the bottle... it's really neat. You can apply it with just a glue pen or probably even Crystal Effects, but you have to kind of stick it on with your fingers and then tap the excess off. I have a feeling you'll be seeing a lot of it here on my blog in the near future. ;)

And this little cutie below, his name is Eric, he's the newest male member of the Greeting Farm's Wild Sprout crew, isn't he precious? I love his longish hair! This card is for Club Anya's Saturday Sketch challenge, but I cannot get to the gallery in order to upload it, so I'm hoping they'll be OK with me adding a link to my blog post:

I used Whisper White and Certainly Celery cardstocks by SU! and DP papers by Die Cuts With a View, his cape is paper pieced. I tend to keep boy cards simple and this is no exception, the "Let's Hang Out!" sentiment is a rub-on by SU!

That's all for now! Be back tomorrow with a few more challenges, I'm on a roll this weekend. :) Peace.
