Hi there everyone.  We have a new challenge for you today at:

Head on over to see LOTS of gorgeous eye candy from the very talented DT!

Next up is one last Halloween card I was able to squeeze in for the:

I used Black Cats for Sale from A Day for Daisies, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  I printed my image twice so I could fussy-cut the sign and pop it up with foam dimensional dots.  Now we'll be seeing Christmas cards for the next month or so, and I think I'm actually ready!  Have a great day, everyone.  Peace.

Simon Says Stamp - Get in Shape!

Hello everyone!  We've had some really warm weather the last few days so Jeremy and I took a little ride to the coast yesterday.  I love sharing my pics with you all, I hope you like seeing them.  There is nothing that puts me in a better mood than getting out and taking pics of this gorgeous place we live.  Smelling the coastal air, the farms, the ranches, the trees... This is Tomales Bay - enjoy:
 What a beautiful world.  :)

I made this cute cup-cake shaped card using an image from Pollycraft Studio along with a sentiment printed from my word processing program.  DP is from SU!  Button is from my stash.  Peace.

Sweet Stampin' - All That Glitters & All That Scraps

Hey there - I made this first card for my friend Stacy, but I have several friends who are nurses and they ALL sparkle.  I love you all, thank you for doing what you do.  :)  I'm entering this into the:

I used Sparkle Nurse from Saturated Canary, along with some Dazzling Diamonds glitter and lots of gemstone stickers.  Most of you know my style, and it's not clean and simple!  LOL   So this card was almost hard for me to make, but it was kind of a challenge to myself - and I really love the way it came out and how the focus stays on this adorable image.

My next card is for the:

All That Scraps Challenge: Anything Goes

I figured I'd get a little jump on some Christmas cards, and I just got some pretty new holiday DP.  I used Fa La La Emma digi stamp from All That Scraps, and the "Fa La La" words are from a clear stamp set that I won from Just Wordz.  That's all for today!  Have a good one.  Peace.

Thankful

As much as I really love Thanksgiving, I don't need a special day set aside to remind me how great my life is.  I am thankful every single day for everything I have, and that includes you all.  I have never even met some of the people that I consider my best friends, yet I don't doubt for a minute that they'd be there for me in any way they could if I needed them.  That means a lot to me, and it's something I'm feeling very thankful for today, especially because I'm 3000 miles away from the friends and family that I've been surrounded by for 40 years.  I love California, but I do get a little homesick.  I'm only human, you know?  So I'm even MORE thankful for the good friends I have who help me through those times.  You know who you are.  Thank you.  xoxo

Today's card is for the:

and

I used Puddle Jumper Gabi from By Lori Designs, paper-pieced and colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  DP is from MME, ribbon and brads are from SU! Sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs. Peace.

Just Some Lines: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & WW ATC Reminder

Hello there.  Let's get right to business today - we have a new challenge for you, along with some new challenge rules, over at:

I had a great time creating this "faux canvas" out of an old chocolate box!  I painted it with white Gesso, then used my felt applicator to apply some blue & green alcohol inks to it.  I then spritzed it with Silver Foil Smooch Spritz.  I found this Emo Mermaid image from Just Some Lines in my stash, colored her with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and fussy-cut her out.  I added a little starfish charm, love using charms on my projects.  I used Mod Podge to adhere the images (sentiment is from Scrapalicious Times Sentiments) to the "canvas" and used mini glue dots to attach a soda can "pop-top" to the back as a wall-hanger.  I had so much fun making this, and it actually looks so cute hanging on my wall!

We also have a fun reminder post for you at:

I used Eva the Witch from Delicious Doodles, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and a bit of markers.  I kept this little ATC simple, to keep the focus on the beautiful image.  Peace.

Dilly Beans Girly & Jellypark Nature

Yup, it's Friday again.  :)  Time for a new challenge at:

I made an altered coaster, I am totally in love with using my alcohol inks on a felt applicator over a layer of Gesso and then adding layers of UTEE. I used the Mermaid from Dilly Beans, printed on copy paper and fussy-cut out, then applied with Mod Podge.  I added the "peace" blocks and tied a ribbon around it with a pretty starfish charm attached and then sprinkled some clear glitter over the whole thing, .

Next up - we also have a new challenge for you at:

I used "fairy sitting on branch" from Jellypark, along with some fun woodsy papers and cut-outs from MME and added a piece of twine.
Hope you all have a great weekend!  Peace.
