Stamping Bella Christmas in July

One more Christmas in July card for the following challenges:

Stamping Bella - Christmas in July

CAS on Friday - Christmas in July

Daisy Chain Challenge - Christmas in July

Merry Little Christmas Challenge - Anything Christmas Goes

The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up - Anything Christmas Goes

Peace on Earth - Anything Christmas Goes

I applied some Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink with my blending tool along the side of my watercolor paper panel, and misted with water. I stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant and the Oddball Spring Fairy from Stamping Bella directly on the watercolor background paper with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored the Fairy with Copics and a white gel pen, added some Stickles and Dazzling Diamonds. I then lightly sponged the non-colored edges with black ink. Peace.

Fla La La Mingos...

Happy Sunday! I am hoping to do basically nothing today. LOL  I have a busy week coming up - Water Country trip with my daughter and the 3 girls on Tuesday, doctor appointments on Wednesday, and then a 3-day camping trip for hubby and me to Bar Harbor, Maine. I'm looking forward to it - we always have fun when we camp (we have an RV, I'm no tent camper - hee hee), we play pitch and cook on the grill and go exploring local breweries and disc golf courses. I'm very thankful to have a hubby I enjoy spending time with!

I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Creative Inspiration - Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Cute Critters

Simon Says Stamp Monday - Stitch It

Color Dare #660

I had SO much fun making this card - I used the ink smooshing technique and built up several layers of the orange and 2 shades of pink. I often will do this on a large piece of watercolor paper, typically 6x9, then I cut in half so the card measures 4.5x6 - I can then use the second piece for die cutting or stamping on, etc. That's what I did here - so I stamped the flamingos from the Fla La La Mingo set at Paperie Ink and fussy cut them, and added some extra ink with Copics to them before attaching them with foam dimensional tape. I die cut the inner panel with a stitched edge rectangle, stamped the surfboard and sentiment (everything is stamped with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder) directly on that, sponged the edges, and attached to the 2nd background piece. Peace.

Happy Birthday - CC Designs Tag

I have been on a tag/bookmark kick lately - it's fun to make stuff besides cards sometimes. I have a little bin that I keep all of my "extras" in and I like to stick a tag or an ATC in a RAK or birthday card when I send them. I'd like to enter this tag below into the following challenges:

As You Like It - Favorite Non Card Project (and why - see above)

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes/Optional Child's Birthday

Crafty Gals Corner - ___________in July (birthday in July!)

Die Cut Divas - Happy Birthday (must use die cuts)

Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes

I used the ink smooshing technique on watercolor paper with Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink to build up some layers, then die cut the tag. I stamped the sweet clown from the xx set at CC Designs with Versamark Black and embossed with clear embossing powder, colored with Copics and attached to the tag with foam dimensional tape. I stamped the balloon & sentiment directly on the tag, then colored the balloon a brighter red and used some glossy accents on it. Peace.

Merry Wanda Penguin - Polkadoodles New Challenge!

Come play along with us at the Polkadoodles challenge for your chance to win one of 3 $10 gift certificates or one $50 gift certificate!  Theme is always Anything Goes...

Crafty Catz - Anything Goes/Optional For a Child

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Cute Critters

I printed out Wanda Penguin Hanging Bunting and colored with Copics, then used a circle die to cut her out. I used a random base from a crystal ball coloring page to create the base of the snowglobe. Papers are all from the Bella Bear Christmas Set 2 printable paper pack - I used one for the background, one for the die-cut bunting, and another I cut out the "Do Not Open Until 25 December" as an embellishment. The bunting and embellie are attached with foam dimensional tape. Peace.

Beautiful World

Busy day today - I got up and made fudge, made a baked ziti for Jeremy's cousin whose mom recently passed, and made a card for a challenge!  And it's only noon!  LOL I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Stay Crafty With a Blog Named Hero - You're My Best Friend

Alphabet Challenge - G is for Girlfriend

CAS Colours & Sketches #564

I fell in love with this stamp set (Hero Arts - Beautiful World) the second I saw it! I kept this CAS - stamped the image and sentiment directly on the white card base with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I "colored" with Lindy's Magicals mixed with water and a fine paintbrush - I like the messy, watercolored look of it. I sponged the edges lightly with black ink to finish it off. Peace.

Hello friends! I would like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Alphabet Challenge - G is for Girlfriend

I created my background with Lindy's Magicals and my handheld air blower thingy (very technical, I know, do try to keep up... LOL) - then I simply stamped the circles (Funky Fossil) and the sentiment (no idea) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. Peace.

I tied a yellow stitched ribbon around it to finish it off. Peace.

Everyone Needs a Little Magic

I love the Christmas in July challenges (or the Christmas all year long challenges!) because I really don't make many Christmas cards! I'm the one still making Halloween cards in December... hee hee  I actually don't even have many Christmas/winter holiday stamps at all!  So I had to get creative for the Stamping Bella July challenge...

I'd like to enter my card below into the following challenges:

Cut it Up #334 - Christmas in July

Daisy Chain #98 - Christmas in July

Peace on Earth - Anything Christmas Goes

The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up - Anything Goes Christmas

AllSorts #827 - AG/Optional For a Child

Christmas KickStart - Merry Go Round

My papers are from Doodlebug Designs - I used a large postage stamp die and one of my favorite inlay dies to showcase the Santa paper. I stamped Tiny Townie Unicorn from Stamping Bella with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored her with Copics, Stickles, and a white gel pen and used some sparkly white Fluffy Stuff on her tutu. I stamped the sentiment directly on the DP and finished it off with some gemstone stickers. Peace.

Keep Palm and Carry On

I created my background by blending Stormy Sky Oxide Ink through my Cloud Edger stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (use code JennFan10 for 10% off at the shop). I then printed out the sentiment & palm tree from the Safari Set at Lili of the Valley and stamped the bird from the Somebirdy Loves You set at Clearly Besotted. I colored with Copics and a white gel pen and fussy cut, then attached with foam dimensional tape and adhered the panel to the card base. Peace.

The Paper Shelter - Happy Birthday Cancer!

Hi there!  We have a new challenge for you at The Paper Shelter! Theme is always Anything Goes with an optional theme - this week is More Than One Fold! I went with the Anything Goes this time because I've been having fun with these zodiac images!

Die Cut Divas - Happy Birthday

I used black & Kraft cardstock for the base and the Film Drip die set from AALL & Create. The Paper Shelter digi stamp I used is called Cancer, I printed it out twice and colored with Copics, fussy cutting the girl & moon and layered it on top of the entire image with foam dimensional tape. I stamped the sentiment (Cancer Girl - Picket Fence) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder, then die cut the word Cancer (Picket Fence) from black cardstock. Peace.

Possibility begins with imagination

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. I had a fun sleepover with my little Millie, my youngest granddaughter (she's 3) and we had so much fun. She's hysterical. Isn't she a cutie (she was eating a chocolate covered granola bar - hee hee)?

Then we had a cookout at her house on Saturday, and I spent the day in my craft room on Sunday.  It was just a nice relaxing weekend! I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Crafting a Cut Above - Anything Goes (with a die cut)

We Love Stamping - AG/Optional Sun, Sea, or Sand

Pink & Main - Ocean

Passion for Markers #796 - Add Ribbon

Just Us Girls #783 - Word Week: Water

I created my background by painting Lindy's Magicals on watercolor paper (I make TONS of backgrounds ahead of time so I'm not 100% sure which color this was!), then I took another piece of watercolor paper that I had distressed with oxide inks and die cut the bubble cover plate. I printed World Above from Sweet November Stamps, colored her with Copics and fussy cut her. I attached her with foam dimensional tape. I then used some ricrac ribbon to tie the sentiment charm to. Peace.

I printed out Floating Farrah from Sweet November Stamps, colored her with Copics and die cut her with a deckled edge circle die. I stamped the Happy Birthday from Polkadoodles with an orange Distress Oxide Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder, then die cut with a smaller deckled edge circle.

I used 2 different sizes of tag die cuts and my Gelli Plate with acrylic paints to create my tag/bookmark - stencils are from the July release at A Colorful Life Designs - I used the Crabbies and the Sea Net stencils (the little crab added to the sea net was applied with Distress Ink in Candied Apple and embossed with clear embossing powder) along with an astrological wheel stamp, stamped with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I added the die cut "Cancer" sentiment and tied some black twine on to finish it off.

Use code JennFan10 to take 10% off your purchase at the store! Peace.

Happy Anniversary Handsome

OK so ssshhhhhhh.... this card is for my husband for our wedding anniversary, which isn't until the end of August! LOL  So I can't share it on social media until then, but I was inspired by the following challenges:

I Love ProMarkers - Anything Goes/Optional Super Heroes

Stencil Fun July - AG/Optional Your Flag Colors

Shopping Our Stash - Red, White, and Blue (stash item is the stamp!)

Paper Funday #78 - AG/Optional Fun with Stencils

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Emboss It

Inkspirational - Designers Choice (I used hearts)

Color Dare #659

I created my background by using Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink on my Praise Burst stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (you can use code JennFan10 for 10% off at the shop!), misting the stencil with water and then laying down on watercolor paper. I then used a random heart stencil and applied Candied Apple Distress Ink through it, stamped the sentiments in Chipped Sapphire then embossed both with clear embossing powder. I attached an "anniversary" sticker to the top sentiment because it originally said "birthday". I stamped this adorable Super Hero Ian from a retired set called Amazing Duo from The Greeting Farm, using Versafine Black and clear embossing powder. I colored him with Copics and a white gel pen, fussy cut, and attached with foam tape. Peace.
