Yeah, I seemed to have lost my mojo this past weekend - I was really struggling to stay motivated and that is so not like me! But I think I found it! LOL I have been on a roll today, and was able to make this card with 3 separate challenges in mind:
The Sugar Bowl Sketch Challenge - use something recycled
Fab N' Funky Challenges #23 - use metal
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #83 - use metal
I previously only owned a couple of Sugar Nellies stamps - the cost and shipping from the UK is prohibitive, but I had gotten the Frog Prince stamp for free a while ago for participating in a blog hop, and I fell in love with the Diane Duda images. I wanted this one, Believe, for a while - so when I decided I also had to have a couple of the Gorjuss Girls, I decided to splurge. I'll use the Gorjuss Girls for other challenges and hopefully be able to share them with you this week - they are so cute.
Colors on this card are SU! Not Quite Navy and Old Olive. The "believe" metal charm is recycled off of an old charm bracelet. That olive-colored tissue-like paper was recycled off an old card and it's been sitting in my box of embellishments for literally years! LOL
