31 Days of Halloween: Day 6 (Sunday Postcard Art: Black Cats)

Hi friends!  Welcome to Day 6 of the 31 Days of Halloween!  You should have arrived here from Shoni's blog - if you need to go back and start at the beginning, the blog roll is posted over here on my sidebar-------------------------------->

Today's creation is actually a postcard - sized 6x4 inches - as I was asked to be the hostess for this week's:

Sunday Postcard Art: Black Cats

I'd also like to enter this into the following challenges:

Crafty Calendar: Halloween
Hiding in my Craft Room: Halloween Colors

The digi image I used is called Spook Cat by Digi Stamp Boutique - he is a pre-colored black cat (I am pretty sure he was a previous "freebie" as I cannot find him in their store anymore), so all I had to do was add a bit of green to his eyes.  I sponged the edges of the panel he's printed on and added some cardstock stickers - paper and stickers are from Authentique (can you tell this is my favorite Halloween paper or what?!?).  Then I added some black pearl stickers and orange gemstone stickers to finish it off.

Thanks to my buddy Mandy for asking me to host this fun little challenge!

Your next stop on the hop is DominoART.  Have fun hopping!
Peace.

31 Days of Halloween: Day 5 (Wicked Wednesday & Just Some Lines)

Helloooooo!  Welcome to Day 5 of the 31 Days of Halloween!  You should have arrived here from Shoni's blog - if you need to go back and start at the beginning, the blog roll is posted over here on my sidebar-------------------------------->

So I have 2 projects to share today - my first one is for our reminder post at:

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge: Voodoo Dolls or Stitching

This fun image called The Eater is one of the new Halloween release images from Just Some Lines - and she happens to be my favorite (OK - ONE of my favorites...)!  I've colored her with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and added Stickles.  Paper & coordinating cardstock stickers are from Authentique and I added a little spider web die cut in the corner.

And my next card is for our brand new challenge at:

Just Some Lines: Halloween

I used the freebie we're offering this month for playing along in our challenge called "Happy Boo", and I colored him with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and lots of Diamond Stickles.  He's a sparkly ghost.  :)  I made a little tombstone out of plain white cardboard and added it with pop-up dots as an embellishment.

For today's post I decided to use my project for our new challenge at:

Dilly Beans: Halloween (Week 1)

This image is called Nutmeg and I colored her with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits with some Stickles added in.  Paper is from Echo Park, sentiment is a cardstock sticker from Authentique.  I love this flower with the little skull center, so fun.  :)  OK your next stop on the hop is DominoART.  Have fun hopping!

I am also entering this Halloween card into the following challenges:

Sarah Hurley Challenge #85: Halloween
Imagination Crafts Challenge: Halloween
The Cupboard Trilogy: Halloween
The Stamping Boutique: Halloween
....................................................
We also have a new challenge for you today at:

Jellypark: Anything Goes

I would also like to enter this into the:

Paper Crafting Journey Challenge: For a Boy
Inky Impressions: Blue as a Main Color

I made this sweet baby card for my cousin Ryan, whose little boy Liam was born prematurely last month.  Ryan has the same birthday as me, 11 years later, and I always call him my birthday twin.  :)  I'm looking forward to meeting Liam when I go back home this Winter.  Anyway, the image I used is called New Baby & Teddy in Blanket (along with the Baby Boy Banner) - papers are from MME, ribbon is from SU! and the button & alpha stickers are from my stash.  Have a great weekend, everyone!  Peace.

31 Days of Halloween: Day 3 (Just Some Lines)

Helloooooo!  Welcome to Day 3 of the 31 Days of Halloween!  You should have arrived here from Shoni's blog - if you need to go back and start at the beginning, the blog roll is posted over here on my sidebar-------------------------------->

I had asked my friend Jehanne from Just Some Lines to draw us some zombie-type creatures for the 31 Days of Halloween, and she did NOT disappoint... you can find this image and all of the other awesome Halloween digis at Just Some Lines here.  This one is called Zombie Friends:

Icolored them with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and a bit of marker and Stickles.  I used my favorite papers from Authentique, along with a coordinating cardstock sticker sentiment.  I added an orange flower and used a spider for the center (die cut).  I really love how this one came out!  I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Bearly Mine Challenges: Halloween
Country View Challenges: Something Spooky
Emergency Crafters: Halloween
Top Tip Tuesday: Flowers

My tip for the Top Tip Tuesday challenge is this:  Use something fun and unexpected for your flower center!  Spiders, gemstones, skulls, smiley faces, butterflies - try using those little odds and ends you've had around forever as a flower center the next time you need one!  :)

I'd also like to enter this into the following challenges:

I've got 2 projects to share today - the first one is for our new challenge at:

We have a fun Halloween itinerary that you can see at the challenge blog, and our sponsor is The Octopode Factory - here's my creation:

I am entering this card into the:

2Creative Chicks: Spooktacular Linky Party
 Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes

I used 4 images from The Octopode Factory: Gloomsville Stack of Pumpkins, Witches Cat, Witches Hat, and Gloomsville Spider (printed on the DP up in the corner) - all colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits with some Stickles added in.  Papers are from Echo Park.

And I made another fun Halloween project using Lily's awesome images for her challenge this week at:
I used Devil Girl, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits - and I also used the wings from the Give Me Wings image, printed on some black patterned DP and attached behind her.  I added lots of Xmas Red Stickles to her horns, tail, and pitchfork and I addded a little skeleton key charm.  Text is stickers from SRM Stickers and Authentique.
