I applied the Ghostly Web stencil from the September release at A Colorful Life Designs (you can use code JennFan10 for 10% off at the shop) with permanent black ink. I stamped the adorable bat & witch hat from Tracey Hey's Batty About You set with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Hello friends! We have some more inspiration for you today at the Polkadoodles challenge blog! One lucky winner will receive a $40 gift card and 2 lucky winners will receive a $10 gift card!  Our theme is always Anything Goes so come play along!

Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday - I make Halloween cards all year long! For this one, I used papers from the Halloween Trick or Treat  paper pack.  The sentiment is from the Spooky Sentiments set. I printed out Cute Little Witch Boo Halloween, colored her with Copics and fussy cut her. I die cut the sentiment and a coordinating piece of the DP and attached Boo with foam dimensional tape.  I added some die cut bats, a spider, and a spider web.

I'd like to enter this first one into the following challenges:

Crafter's Cafe - Anything Goes

I used the Circle Moon stencil in combination with some stamps from Funky Fossil. I used Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink, along with Versafine Clear and white embossing powder. I used a die cut banner, sponged the edges, and added some pearl stickers.

And here are a couple more just for fun:

I used both the Quarter Moons and the Circle Moon (reversed) stencil for the one above.

I'd like to enter this one below into the:

Time Out Challenge #298(I used monochromatic, metallic, edge)

I used the Circle Moon stencil again on this one - creating the background with the ink smooshing technique. I used some shimmery paste through the full moon stencil to create the metallic look, then used Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink for the sentiment & the edges of the card. Peace.

It's Just a Phase

Hubby and I have been out straight getting things ready for our event coming up in November.  This is our super busy time - this afternoon we're heading out to pick up a donation for my raffle from a quaint little restaurant in downtown Worcester called Armsby Abbey. Their food is to die for and they have lots of craft beers and yummy drinks so we're going to go take a break for a couple hours then! I'm looking forward to it!

I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes

Crafter's Cafe - Anything Goes/Optional Flowers

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Creative Knockouts - Anything Goes

Just Us Girls #794 - Stencil Week

I created my background by ink smooshing Cracked Pistachio and I'm pretty sure it was Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Inks on a piece of watercolor paper. I then applied Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink through my Quarter Moons stencil from the September release at A Colorful Life Designs (you can use code JennFan10 to get 10% off your entire order at the shop) and embossed the moons with clear embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment in the center of it all with Villainous Potion Distress Ink, then sponged the edges of the card with the same. Peace.

Sweet 16!

As crafters, we all struggle with thinking we're not "good enough" - am I right?  I know I do!  So when someone asks me to make them a special card, I'm always so honored!  My friend Linda asked me to make a card for her granddaughter's 16th birthday - I came up with the card below, which I'd like to enter into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Add a Number

Passion for Markers - Anything Floral

Die Cut Divas - Anything Goes

Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes

Seize the Birthday - No Topping

I created my background by ink blending Distress Oxide Inks in pinks all over a piece of watercolor paper, then spritzing with water and blotting with a paper towel. I die cut the deckled/stitched edge circles from the same papers, as well as the "16" numbers. I die cut the film strip from a piece of black cardstock. I printed out Rose & Thorns from Krista Smith/Saturated Canary (no longer in business), colored with Copics, and cut out in a square before attaching with foam dimensional tape.  Finished off with some pearl stickers. Peace.

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes

Let's Craft & Create - Anything Goes/Optional Lots of Layers

(I love this set of dies from Altenew called Circular Elements - they are so versatile and can be used for inlays or for accents/dimension)

Papers are from Doodlebug Designs - I used a die cut inlay from Altenew that's one of my favorite die sets, it's called Circular Elements. I stamped the little dragon from the Mythical Monsters set at Clearly Besotted with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored them with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. Finished off with some rhinestone stickers. Peace.

Find Your Tribe - Love Them Hard

Another busy week! That's OK though - staying busy keeps me out of my head. I always crash after the holidays and I expect this year to be no different. BUT - I have those little pumpkins (grandkids) to dote on and I fully intend on having sleepovers and spending as much time as I can with them during their breaks from school! I talk about them a lot so I wanted to share a picture of them - they just started dance, first time for Millie.  LOL  This is my Lisey (5) and RaeRae (6):

And this is my lil Millie (3):

Aren't they just the cutest?  hee hee  :)  I might be a bit biased!

On to business!  I'd like to enter the card below into the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps - Make Your Mark

Crafts Galore Encore - Anything Goes

Double D - Make Your Own Background

Passion for Markers - Animal Friends

Colorful Options September - Mood Board OR Rainbow

I created my background by flicking Distress Spray Stains in the colors from the mood board (yellow, red, orange, blue) all over a piece of watercolor paper. I stamped the elephant and bird (Tracey Hey - My Tribe) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored them with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. I then die cut the sentiment (from the same stamp set) and layered it on a piece of cardstock that I distressed with yellow Oxide Ink.  Peace.

I created my background by using the ink smooshing technique on watercolor paper with Distress Oxide Inks. I printed out "petit pot getting in" from Just Some Lines (no longer in business), colored it with Copics, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. I attached the die cut tag with a metal flower brad and put metal eyelets in the corners. Sentiment is from CC Designs, stamped with Distress Oxide Ink in Chipped Sapphire and embossed with clear embossing powder. Peace.

I then stamped the larger flower onto musical note DP and fussy cut, paper piecing just the flower portion. I stamped the background stamps with coordinating inks, then used a die cut for the sentiment with black cardstock. Finished it off with some gemstone stickers. Peace.
