Halloween Fun & Dope Together

Good morning! I have 2 fun cards to share today - I had a blast making these on World Card Making Day!  My favorite color is purple, so these were easy to come up with!  This first one is for the following challenges:

TGIF Challenges #545

Paper Funday - Anything Goes/Optional Creepy or Cute

Cut it Up #340 - More than One Die Cut

Double D - Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet

If You Give a Crafter a Cookie - Spooky Fun

I used some fun designer papers and used a scallop die on 3 different papers, then layered the die cuts. I used a spider & a web die cut as embellies and added a sticker sentiment to the corner. This is one of my favorite stamps (retired) from CC Designs - I stamped her with Versafine Black and colored her with Copics and a white gel pen. I fussy cut her and attached her with foam dimensional tape.

....................................

And this next card is for the following challenges:

Cardz 4 Galz #260 - Purple & Green

A Cut Above - Anything Goes with Die Cuts

I Love ProMarkers #592 - AG/Stenciled Background

Passion for Markers - Favorite Colors

x

I created my background by blending Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Ink on a piece of watercolor paper and smooshing it just a bit with some water. I just LOVE my Ink Road Stamps, they are so much fun and so unique! I stamped the heart-shaped cannabis leaves and the sentiment on the background and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I printed out the cannabis smoking girl digi from Oddball Art, colored her with Copics & Fun Flock and fussy cut her. I used 2 stitched edge die cut rectangles to create a frame, added a tiny die cut cannabis leaf in the corner, sponged it with black ink and attached it all with foam dimensional tape. I finished it off with purple eyelets in the corners. Peace.

And one more - this one is for the following challenges:

Born to be Wild

Happy Friday! We're picking up the youngest granddaughter from preschool today, then going to grab the big girls off the bus and take them out for an early dinner. The middle granddaughter (Lisey) is going to come home with me for a sleepover, but she doesn't know it yet. She's Grammy's girl, and she's going to be so excited. Chaos Theory - Color Dare #670

I had to squeeze this in because this is one of my favorite challenge blogs - I try to make sure I make at least one project for each of their color challenges, it's so inspiring, the colors are always so pretty!  So this is for the:

Color Dare #670

Interestingly enough, I started out with something completely different for this color challenge, but I ended up doing this one! I ink smooshed blue & green Oxide Inks on watercolor paper, then stamped the images from Visible Image directly on the background and embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped the flower on another piece of distressed watercolor paper in yellow, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. Peace.

Nothing More Perfect...

I've been a day ahead all week this week, so I totally thought today was Friday! LOL  But I'm glad it's Thursday because it's literally the only day this week that I don't "have to" do something! Craft day it is! I'd like to enter my card below into the:

Festive Friday Challenge #194 - I used black, white, checks (sort of?), crowns, castle, horses, encouraging sentiment

I created this card with the Chess Pieces and Square Cut Out stencils from A Colorful Life Designs - you can use code JennFan10 for 10% off your entire order at the site!  I used Black Soot Distress Ink & Distress Oxide Ink for the chess pieces and stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black, then embossed with clear embossing powder.
