School is Cool

Good morning!  I had a fantastic weekend in Vermont.... here are some pictures, this first one is a cool graffiti hummingbird on the side of a building:


This next one is Jeremy & I celebrating our 22nd anniversary:

And this one is my friend Annik and I, Annik lives in the town we were visiting so we had dinner together one night:

We had a fantastic weekend - we ate, drank, hit the (huge) Farmer's Market Saturday morning, visited a couple of breweries and brought home a couple of "Growlers" full of yummy beer... all in all a wonderful time!  :)

Lucky 13

Happy Sunday!  Today we have a new challenge for you at:

Our sponsor at Corrosive this week is SLS Lines, and I used the Day of the Dead Calavera Girl.  I was afraid of making her too "busy" with a lot of colors on her face but now I'm itching to color another one with exactly that.  LOL  Anyway, I colored her with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and added some glitter pen as accents.  I cut out the number 13 with my die from My Favorite Things.  The "LUCKY" stickers are from Authentique, along with the paper.  Finished it off with a skull & crossbones charm and a piece of washi tape.  Peace.

Smarty Pants

Hey there - I'm heading to Vermont for the weekend to celebrate my 22nd anniversary with my hubby.  We are staying around Lake Champlain - cannot wait to get some good pictures and just have a nice, relaxing weekend.  Today I have a card to enter into the following challenges:

I colored this sweet Ppinky image with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits & Prismacolor markers.  Added lots of Stickles & Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  Finished it off with a ribbon tag, some gemstone stickers and the "xo" stickers.  Peace.

The Corrosive Challenge: Perfectly Purple

Good morning!  I'm having such a fantastic weekend - I took Friday & Monday (tomorrow) off from work, so it's an extra-long weekend for me.  On Friday, I went to Ocean Beach in CT with my friend Holly.  Friday night I went out with my friends to dinner and then to this little bar that we like. We had so much fun.  Yesterday I was in recovery mode - went to lunch with hubby and did some quiet stuff at home, then went out for ice cream after dinner.  :)  Today I'm heading to my friend Kim's house to sit by the pool and visit with her and her adorable baby girl, Lena.  But first, I have to get my card posted for our new challenge at:
