Two Post MONDAY!

I have been on a roll with these challenges - I just love the way they get your creativity flowing! This one is for the Club Anya "Pattern Me Not" challenge - I couldn't use any patterned/background papers. It was challenging - but fun! I love Santa Ian, I used SU! Real Red, Whisper White, and Basic Black papers. I used a soda tab for my belt buckle, and a piece of black grosgrain ribbon. I smeared the paper with black ink to give it a "charcoaled" look. Whaddayathink?

I couldn't NOT ink up Santa Anya once I took this set out, so I made this one, too:
Then I stumbled across the Etsy Inspired Challenge blog this week because Whimsie Doodles is sponsoring it and I "heart" Whimsie Doodles... anyway, the challenge was to visit the shop and get inspired by one of the photos - this was what I came up with, and I was inspired by a gorgeous picture of the sun's rays shining through the trees onto the grass, it's just beautiful and it's called Good Morning, Kansas (click to see) - by Jared May.

I used SU! Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, and coordinating Designer Series papers, along with SU! Not Quite Navy brads.
Peace!

Twinkle Tots - Princess Ava

The Greeting Farm has become one of my favorite sources for stamps and digital images, and one of the reasons is that they are constantly coming out with new images - which can be good (creatively) and bad (financially)! hee hee They recently came out with a new line called the Twinkle Tots, which are just absolutely adorable. Of the 5 tots they released so far, I just had to have Madelynn, who you met yesterday, and Princess Ava, below:

Isn't she just precious? I used Stampin' Up! whisper white, Brocade Blue, and Real Red cardstock, Designer Series background paper, gemstone brads, red ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds glitter for her crown, and red glitter for her shoe.

Come back tomorrow to see my entry for the Stampin For the Weekend challenge! Peace.

Sunday's Post #2 - More Challenges

OK so I ended up creating cards/projects for 6 challenges today! One of them is a special one, it turned out to be my favorite - and that one I'm not posting until Tuesday. Oh, the anticipation, I know, I know! :o) For now - how's this to tide you over?

I created this cutie for the Dare You To Digi Stamp Friday challenge, using Whimsie Doodles new digi image Olive & Toasty:

This one I totally screwed up and I'm not entering it but I loved how it came out - it was for the Sugar Bowl's challenge this week, which was a sketch and was to include thankfulness... I got so tied up in making sure I included thankfulness, that I forgot to follow the sketch! LOL Enjoy anyway! :o)

And last, this one is for the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge, using another CC Designs digi image:

That's all for now - be sure to check back Tuesday! Peace.

Challenges....

I will be making more than one post today, I am challenging myself to do as many challenges as I can! :o) I was lucky to be able to use one card for 2 challenges, this one is for the Digital Tuesday Challenge, which was to use flowers - and also for the Digi Kitty challenge, which was to use a frame theme in your card - what do you think?

Isn't she cute? That's Madelynn, one of the adorable new images over at the Greeting Farm. And then I made this one below, just cuz I thought she was so cute, I had to keep creating! I used Stampin' Up! colors So Saffron, Rose Red, Bashful Blue, and Certainly Celery - and coordinating Designer Series papers.

OK more later! Peace.

Scrap Crazy!

I have this ring of samples of Stampin' Up!'s designer series papers. Each one is 3x3 inches, with a hole-punch in a corner. I decided to use as many of these scraps as possible one day, and here are the cards I came up with:

Birthday, Christmas, and 2 Itty Bitty Betty's!

My dad's birthday was yesterday, this is the card I made him to stick his gift card inside:

This is my favorite Christmas card so far, I just love it - you can't tell, but those are sparkly diamond-like brads:
These next 2 cards use the same image, Itty Bitty Betty Ladybug on Flower digi image by Pink Cat Studio - I love how using different colors and papers can make the cards so completely different:
Peace!

Stampin For the Weekend Challenge

At the Stampin For the Weekend blog this week, the challenge was to use the colors blue, orange, and purple and also to incorporate one of 3 song titles into your card. I chose "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." I ended up making 2 cards, this one is my favorite and the one I want to use for the challenge:

I used 80s Anya from the Greeting Farm on both of them. The above card uses Orchid Opulence, Bashful Blue, and Pumpkin Pie. I used one of the drink images from the Stampin' Up! set Cheers. Below card uses Orchid Opulence, Pumpkin Pie, and Bordering Blue.

So this one was my first attempt - my warm-up card, if you will. LOL Still pretty cute, eh? I used more Stampin' Up! images on this one, too (the hat, bags, phone, and drink):

Peace!
