Oddball Art Challenge Reminder: Halloween

You Are the Apple of My Eye!

Good morning!  I've been the Whimsie Doodles Guest Designer for October, and it's been tons of fun working with these adorable images.  Today I have a card using one of the newer images, Apple Abby, and here it is:

I paper-pieced Abby's dress & headband, colored the rest with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  I used a combination of papers from different companies and created the sentiment with my Dymo Caption Maker and a little apple brad from eyeletoutlet.com. Peace.

Caw!

Happy freezing-freaking-cold Monday!  We actually had snow flurries yesterday - SNOW FLURRIES.  Before Halloween!  My poor kitty is not liking this, I think I heard him grumble something about moving back to California.  ;)

Today's card kind of just came to me - I had made this raven die-cut with my Silhouette Cameo and it was just screaming to be the focal point of a card:

I thought this paper was just perfect to pair with that awesome crow and then I created the sentiment with my Dymo Caption Maker and stuck it to a wooden text bubble accent.  Finished it off with a ribbon tag.  Peace.

Spooky

Hello there - I had fun crafting this past weekend and I made a ton of cards, here's one of my favorite creations:


This one is for the following challenges:


When I saw the theme at A Day for Daisies, I almost didn't play because I didn't have any black lace.  Then I had an "ah-ha!" moment - I sprayed a piece of white lace with my Black Velvet Smooch Spritz and voila - black lace!  LOL   I used a sticker from SRM Stickers and some Hallowen papers from my stash.  Peace.

Halloween Trio

Hello there!  Today's post is gonna be a bit long, I've got 3 projects to share with you today.  The first is for my guest DT spot and for the new challenge at:

I colored Batty Girl with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to create the bat die-cut - I love the fun colors and embellishments on this one.
