The Dressy Girls are back for our

All Dressed Up February Facebook Challenge!

Theme: Hearts and/or Flowers

I made 2 cards for my DT commitment, I'd like to enter this one below into the following challenges:

This one above uses an image called Jam Jars, colored with Copics and fussy cut, then attached with foam dimensional tape. I tied a little piece of black twine into a bow and glued it on the jar. I used an inlay die cut on the black card base and attached a piece of white cardstock behind it. Finished off with a little text sticker and some rhinestone stickers.

And this one below I'd like to enter into the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes

Papers are from xx. I printed out Pretty as a Picture from All Dressed Up, colored her with Copics and used a stitched edge die to cut her out. I added a sticker sentiment from a Tim Holtz book that I cut up to fit the frame. Peace.

together is the best place to be

Hello all!  I have an oldie but goodie to share today - this is for the following challenges:

Retro Rubber #264 - Sketch

Try it on Tuesday - Add Some Text

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes

Passion for Markers #822 - Ribbon and/or Lace

Double D - Friends

I started by blending Carved Pumpkin & Rustic Wilderness Oxide Inks on a piece of watercolor paper. I then applied Picket Fence Oxide Ink through a star stencil in the lower right corner and embossed them with white sparkly embossing powder. I then took another piece of watercolor paper and cropped it down, then stamped the text down the right-hand side with Broken China Oxide Ink - I used the same color blended on a scrap piece of watercolor paper and layered that on top of the cropped piece. I spritzed it all with water and blotted with a paper towel.  I then stamped the Frog Prince stamp from Diane Duda/Sugar Nellies (2009) with Versafine Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored with Copics and Stickles, fussy cut, and attached with foam dimensional tape. Peace.
