Hello there! Today I'm heading to a memorial service, a very good friend of mine lost his younger brother a few weeks ago. These things always make me want to tell the people I love how much they mean to me. I encourage you all to do the same.
This card was actually made for a friend of mine at work, Ruthie, who lost her dad suddenly. He loved Hawaii and had a place there, so I used that theme for the card I made for Ruthie. I always try to focus on the good, the happy memories and the things that make us smile when we think about someone we've lost. Here's the card:

Gorgeous card Jenn. Thank you for playing along with our Challenge at Creative Craft Cottage. We would love to see you again … Anet DTx

This is beautiful, both the design of the card and your thought process behind it.
ReplyDeleteThe colours are great, the mixed media aspect of making it a touchy feely card is great, I really like the sentiment too. Thanks for joining us this time at Simply Papercraft :)
